As a connoisseur of military nonfiction books, it struck me as odd that I had never read an account of the war that I fought in (Desert Shield/Storm), so I decided to start with this book. Big mistake. Not only was the book riddled with typos and mistaken nomenclature for both U.S. and Iraqi military equipment, but the structure of the book made it impossible to follow at times.
