Scamps of Disorder is a novelette by Rhys Hughes, composed by two different tales. Or maybe not.

The Candid Slyness of Scurrility Forepaws

Don’t be polite. Don’t be good. The world is evil. If you are innocent, then you are weak, you are exposed to the injustice of society. But you have a chance: try to increase the chaos in the world. This is what Scurrility Forepaws had le

Eh eh.

Two tales and two characters swinging between being absurd and surreal, written with such an astonishing and rare humor that this novelette really worths to be read.

"But soon I had raised enough capital to turn my carefully nurtured dream into a reality. I founded a magazine. This was my unique piece of mischief, my apotheosis."

A magazine, an unique piece of mischief. No, sure, this is not the story's main event. The fact is that Scurrility Forepaws listened to his father, once. "The world is a chaotic and unhappy place," he said. And while teaching his son how to behave he gave him certain advices that... well, you're going to discover them. Be prepared to
