Reminded me of Bruce Weber's embarrassing Vanity Fair portfolio "Swede Surrender," but less honest about just wanting to shoot PYTs in their underwear. This book has a weak façade as a cultural study. It would be interesting to know how the Cubans in these photos live such charmed lives denied the rest of their compatriots, but you won't get any such insight here.
