W-O-W Lucian is SMOKING!

I loved this one MUCH better probably because it centred around Lucian and Falon. I mean yeah Raf is nice, but Lucas, dang, he's sexy!

He oozes sex appeal, hotnesses and mystery.
How can you not be attracted to that, he is well appealing, interesting and gorgeous!

And that ending? Wow, did not see that coming. Falon Groton my nerves a little but. She couldn't be happy with Lucian, or even Raf. She wants both of them. Some trio relationship with two BROTHERS. I mean two bro...more

Bloodright by Karin Tabke
A Blood Moon Rising Novel #2

Entering the second book in Karin Tabke’s Blood Moon Rising series, we start off exactly where the first book ended. For those of you that haven’t read the first book , I strongly recommend you start at the first book. The first book ends in a cliffhanger, and the author doesn’t spend any time rehashing the foundation of the story from the first book, and you just might find yourself a bit lost.

Their shared blood will destroy them in hatred–or unite them in passion…
After years of waiting, Lycan Alpha Lucien Mondragon is poised to take revenge on his brother, Rafael, by killing Rafael’s life mate, the Lycan/Slayer half-breed Falon—but he cannot complete the kill. Instead of ending her life, Lucien defiantly marks Falon as his own.

Though terrified by the savage Lucien, Falon finds herself drawn to him. Torn between the love she has for Rafael and the hunger she holds for Lucien, the wi

Bloodright by Karin Tabke

What a good series, it’s too bad I have to wait for the next one…again! I took me a bit to get into the story because I read the first book so long ago but after that hiccup I was reading at a fast clip. Yes, read them in order, yes the end is a ‘to be continued’, YES they are well worth the wait.

Falon is a kick ass heroine. She wants her cake and I’m guessing [please] she will eat it too in the next book. LOL!

Lucien is the bad boy. The dark half of the twin set with the...more

4 Stars! Bloodright picks up immediately where blood law ended. I love Lucien.*sigh* He's a manipulative, bossy, ruthless, sexy bad boy alpha that is essentially a tortured soul. I waited forever (about a year) for him and he didn't disappoint. 3 stars are just for him. Beware he is tattooed, pierced,(both in the nether regions - yep down south ladies) and can be a huge jealous a-hole at times. When I say jealous I mean Lucien is seriously jealous of Rafael. He just want to be loved and all that...more

*Contains some spoilers*

BLOODRIGHT picks up right where BLOOD LAW (book 1) leaves off. Falon has just been given to Rafael’s brother, Lucien, as payment of Blood Law. Rafael killed Lucien’s true mate years ago, who he believed to be a Slayer, but Lucien claimed she wasn’t and wanted Blood Law enacted, which basically means an eye for an eye. Instead of being given the chance to kill Falon, the council decides that since there’s doubt on both brothers’ cla...more

Update: So I was patiently waiting to get this book 2day when I read Jess's review for Happily-Ever-After....OMGGG!! This is the direction the author took????...she has me soooooooo afraid to read it now, epspecially since I LOVED Blood Law, and Rafael, and Lucien is who she goes with(sucks my teeth) and then the conclusion at the end (another cliff hanger arghhhhhhh) with she running off with ANOTHER MAN!!! OMG, what can I say. Outstanding. If you want action, romance, and erotica, you have got to read this book. Don't pick it up, if you are going to be squeamish. There are some very bold situations in this book. She put the first book to shame. I cannot believe how it ended. It is sin to have to wait till December for the final book. I am so Team LUCA and RAFA!! I would like to know who her father is, maybe we will get that in the last book. I take my 5 stars back, 6 stars Ladies and Gentleman :DD...more

HOLY SHIT!!! That is what I said as I read the last paragraph of this book! Ok, no, what I really said was Son Of A Bitch! This book is great. This first book in the series is really, really good. But this one, the second one, just blew the first totally out of the water. This book starts of exactly where the first leaves off. In the first book I really disliked Lucien. I mean he was a total ass. But in this book you get to see the layers of Lucien. You get to see who he is deep down. Now I'm ki...more

Bloodright is the second book in the Blood Moon Rising series. Here we have a bizarre love triangle. Rafael and Lucien Mondragon are brothers. Falon is the mate of Rafael. She loves him dearly and would do anything for him. Lucien feels that Rafael has killed his mate and taken her from him. So in return he wants Rafael’s mate as payment. He gets his wish. Falon is given to Lucien. At first Falon doesn’t really like Lucien but his darkness needs her and she cannot resist that. She wants to save...more

Bloodright (book 2 of the Blood Moon Rising Trilogy)

I'm supposed to like this book better because I love Lucien. But..
More actions (good), but unfortunately more stupid shit and inconsistencies that make me roll my eyes.

this is a rant
(view spoiler)[F you Raphael and your stupid honor code which I DONT get, at all. WTF. You go from plotting to kill your bro if you don't like the verdict to a maybe plan to let Felon kill your bro so you two can be together. Then you promise to mark another mate a...more

My heart is completely broken and I feel slightly sick to my stomach now.

I’ll be honest with you. This review is going to be breif, because I only made it 40 pages before I couldn’t go any further, but I’ll tell you what I know up until that point. I want to warn you though, if you have no desire to see any spoilers, I would stop now.

My Review:
A-
Book 1 in this series was easily one of my favorite reads of 2011, so I couldn't wait to find out what was in store next for Falon, Rafael, and Lucien. OMG, this series is HOT! I didn't know if I would be able to fall in love with Lucien as much as I loved Rafael from book one, but Karin wrote this brilliantly.

Lucien is the brother who sees himself as wronged 16 years ago when his twin Rafael killed his mate. He's been after vengeance ever since and at the end of book one, the Counc...more

Paranormal Romance –April 3rd, 2012
4 ½ stars

As the second book in the author’s Blood Moon Rising series, this story only get more complicated for the desirable heroine. She is torn from the shifter she loves into those of his arch enemy and brother who only want her for revenge. However, it is not necessary to have read the first book in the series.

In the first book Blood Law, Falon’s unique pedigree makes her highly attractive and the Lycan alpha Lucien Mondragon. For...more

Based on every other review I've read, I'm totally cranky or reading a different book than everyone else read. The first book of the trilogy was a guilty pleasure. This one was, IMO kind of a mess with some dubious consent, inconsistent characterization and (for me) squicky wolf-human sexual situations.

I'm including spoiler tags even though I'm going to talk in generalities JIC.

Initial thoughts...The romance subplot and inner conflicting turmoil surrounding it is Redundant as hell at the beginning. Once you get past then starts to take off. Lots of action and heat, and another surprising turn of events, makes this one an interesting read.

However, the protagonist really starts to get under my skin, due to her romantic indecisiveness and her out of character arrogance in a couple of scenes. The book is filled with repetitive and boring internal dialogue and emotional co...more

Quick & Dirty: A woman torn away from the man she loves only to be drawn into the bed of another.

Opening Sentence: Lucien grabbed Falon to his chest before Rafael could touch her and whirled away from him deep into the safety of his pack.

Sheila’s Thoughts:

Bloodright is considered a paranormal erotic romance. The “paranormal” is there, along with lots of scenes that get the “erotic” stamp of approval. It’s the drama queen romance that is to...more

After nearly a year of impatiently waiting I finally got to read what happens after “all hell broke loose.” The wait was worth it. Bloodright is an amazing follow up to Blood Law. The book starts off at a quick pace and the action, emotions and revelations just keep accelerating. Be prepared to not be able to put this book down until the very last page!

Going into the second book in Karin’s Blood Moon Rising trilogy I was determined not to like Lucien. I loved Rafael and Falon as a couple. Their...more

Bloodright continues right where Blood Law left off. This is definitely a series that you need to read in order as it follows one main storyline and three central characters. Blood Law was about the budding love between Falon and Rafael but now its Lucien’s turn…

The Blood Law has been avenged but not in a way any of them foresaw. Falon is ripped from her love, Rafael, the alpha of pack Vulkasin, and given to his vengeful twin brother Lucien Mondragon. Unable to imagine a life without Rafael and...more

Bloodright continues where Blood Law left off. The Blood Law has been avenged. But not in the way Lucien has always wished. Instead of killing Falon he takes her as his mate. Now Falon is whisked away to the Mondragon Pack with the rakish Lucien...but he's a temptation she is powerless to fight! Since the future of the Lycan race is in their hands she must become his mate and think of the Pack instead...more

I really enjoy BLOODRIGHT a lot

>The book start off where Blood Law left off
>Bloodright is written in the POV Lucien and Falon
>You get to see different side of Lucien/Falon/Rafael
>A Lot fighting scenes + sex scenes as well ^^
>heartbreaking scenes

For me my heart goes out to Falon (being in the middle of the two brothers)..to me Falon become a true female alpha in this book.
Lucien learn to open his heart and soul and become someone who would sacrifice himself for the one he love.

This is the first book that I have ever read by Karin Tabke. I haven't read her first trilogy, "Blood Law", Book #1. Bloodright is Book #2 of this trilogy about two Lycan Alpha brothers, Rafael and Lucien who are in love with the same woman Falon, a Lycan/Slayer half-breed who also has mystical powers and a fiery attitude about herself.

This book is full of action, suspense, and heavy romance in a triangle of passionate love. I have a feeling that the author will have Book #3 on this Trilogy the...more

In Bloodright, author Karen Tabke weaves an exciting, tension filled tale of a Lycan nation on the brink of war and the very discordant, intense emotional dynamics between three Lycans. This story had my heart twisted up in all sorts of directions because of the intensity of the heartache, pain and love came screaming off the pages in this book. Add in the intensity of the plot against the Slayers who want to destroy the werewolves and you have a recipe for a superb story.

Ok this 2nd installment takes you back into the world of Falon, Rafa, & Luca. The rights of the Blood Law will be avenged. But as you are thrust into this crazy, angry, decadent, sexy, erotic world, you see something that you didn't expect was possible. The dawning of a new love. While different, is just as passionate if not more. And so many things are at stake now. What will become of these 3, not to mention the world of their packs...more

Bloodright is book two in the Blood Moon Rising Trilogy and what a great sequel it was to Blood Law (Blood Moon Trilogy #1) . I think I went through every emotion reading this book. My heart is so torn between Lucien and Rafael. At times I was so frustrated with Falon...well, all three of them really...I just wanted to slap someone. Imagine my husbands surprise when out of the blue I slapped him.

I'm really loving this trilogy and highly recommend these books. My only advice is you might want to wait till after the third one co...more

UGH! This book actually turned me off from the series. I do plan to read the next book, but at another time. In this, the second book in the series, Falon gets forced into being Luciens chosen one. I am not saying that Lucien doesn't reveal himself to be a good guy-generally, but Falon was with Rafe first, and she is miserable throughout most of the book and ends up wanting both guys in the long run. I have never felt more annoyed by any book before this one. It reminded me of when I read the se...more

The ability of an author to take the reader on a journey through emotions, beliefs and opinions, etc. is a very important one. But the ability of that author to make the reader change that same opinion or belief is the mark of an excellent author. Karin Tabke is one of those authors. Bloodright continues the story of these three alpha wolves and continues to surprise and thrill the reader with twists and turns that are not expected. And once again we are left with one hell of a cliffhanger....wh...more

For a long time, controlled chaos ruled Karin’s life. Busy mother of four, owner of her own successful business and wife to a street cop, she harbored thoughts of twisting plots and hot romantic scenes. Now, with only one child left at home and hubby retired from law enforcement, Karin happily pounds out those steamy scenes at her keyboard.

Still semi-distracted by her adult children (Yay! no more...more
