Picked this up at the 2014 NH Sheep & Wool festival. I've wanted a copy for a while, as the "bible" of angora raising, Completely Angora, is out of print. This one is a nice starter book. It's enough to get you going; as the title states, it's a new owner's guide. Bought a bunny, what do I do now?

Nice basic primer on Angora bunnies. First half of the book focuses mainly on the different breeds of angora rabbit, with some general info on each kind and the pros/cons for each type. Good info on how to house and care for them (although I'd really recommend another book, at least, if you want more in-depth information on how to care for rabbits). Second half of book shows how to groom and collect the fibre from the rabbits etc and use it for spinning. A quick read, well worth the price.

Informative, quick read. Lots of info directed at angoras, not just rabbits in general, as most rabbit books. From colors to housing to feeding to maladies to shearing and processing and working with fiber - comprehensive.
