When I read "Vampire Assassin" I was not quite sure if I wanted to continue on with the series. However, I had already purchased books 2-4 and decided to give the series another chance. I am happy to report that book 2, "New Blood" was a better read for me than the first book.
Jane is attempting to recover from the tragic loss of her husband and friend Steven. She is aided by an older Russian lady, Olga. Jane realizes she cannot remain living in the visit because it will only cause problems for h...more

Samantha Warren is a fantasy and science fiction author who spends her days immersed in dragons, spaceships, and vampires.
In the name of research, she enlisted the help of her pet dragon Anethesis and together they built a Noah’s Ark-like spaceship. Three trips through a hole in the time-space continuum allowed the pair to explore the universe decades into the past and eons into the future. They...more
