I sought this book out at the library because I wanted my kids to read another Jean Van Leeuwen book since we liked the author's "Cabin on Trouble Creek" so much. We didn't like this one as well...but we will seek out more Leeuwen books to read because we liked it "enough." The book covered four topics in a very short time; therefore, we thought a few were under-developed. The topics:
