I think that this would be a good motivator for young children to read that have stuffed animals that they love dearly. The book also brings the teddy bear to life which helps foster imagination. I was hoping that the bear would speak up for the the cat and dog, but he never did.
I love teddy bears. I do. But I was disappointed with these three stories: "A Good Idea," "What's For Breakfast," and "The Great Outdoors". I thought they were very repetitive. I mean the three stories only vary slightly from one another. In the first story, the dog gets in trouble for "moving" the teddy bear. In the second story, the cat gets in trouble for moving the teddy bear and getting him all sticky. In the third story, the cat and dog both get in trouble for what the teddy did. It wasn't...more
We're going through this one at bedtime, with teddy bear in Will's lap, of course! It's really cute....am definitely going to add the other two in the series.
