This is a great book to use with a small group of men or for someone looking to discover God's purpose for their life. It is a great book to help in understanding God's refining process for men and the different ways he uses us for His divine purpose.
If you are looking for a very practical book to build and strengthen your daily walk with Jesus, this is an excellent book. Find out what it takes to be a man after God's own heart. Find out what kind of heart you need for God to use you. Great boo

A great book all around. It serves its purpose well for encouraging men of faith and giving new perspectives on potentially older ideas. Goes to show the relevance God's word has in the 21st century. I liked how Blackaby delivered these ideas very practically. Although I hate using that word to describe his writing style (practical) but I think that's the best I can come up with.

This book is full of truth and had I read this book at the same age a decade or more ago it would have had more of an impact. I love the author and the Biblical application, the problem is taking these truths and applying them to modern-day. We need authors to write books that transcend time and can be more applicable for future generations.

The book was certainly full of biblical truths so that's the most important thing, but the book lacked a clear structural and direction. This book rambled and jumped around too much for my liking and I found it too distracting.

It is very matter of fact. I would rather read books with modern day examples so it seems more "personal" to todays generation. Overall though , it is a good book. You can read the Bible stories over and over again, (which is good), but when you hear new stories it gives you a different perspective like, "I didn't think of it like that before".

This is a great book! I was able to do a small group bible study with this book and as a group the experience was great. I highly recommend this as a small group study.
