I have to admit having difficulty engaging with this book although I'm unsure as to why that was. I concur with the authors that believers should be able explain why it is that they believe what they do but for me there was a tad too much repetition is some of the points put across both within and between the various chapters. I also at times found the "point", "counter point" sections accentuated the repetition but I accept that the point may have been to re-enforce the reasoning. That said I'm ...more
This is a great book on Christian apologetics. It looks at different theories and lines them up against the Bible. I particularly appreciated the chapter on absolute truth.

I liked this book. To be honest, I liked some chapters much more than others. It wasn't an issue with the material, I just felt less captivated by the reasoning in some chapters than I did other chapters. The chapter about the validity of the Bible as the inspired word of God was great. Another great chapter talked about whether Jesus was actually God, and it was also great.
Love this book. Christians should read this one.
