Over the past few years I have enjoyed the relaxing reads of the Cedar Cove series. The characters have been wonderful to get to know then follow through the series. I was so sad to hear that this was the last book in the series, so I held off on reading the series. This book made for a wonderful conclusion, Ms. Macomber did a wonderful job in bringing closure to the many story lines. The focus of 1225 Christmas Tree Lane was Beth Morehouse who runs a Tree Farm and fosters dogs. Beth started the...more

This Mira edition is an omnibus of two Christmas-themed Debbie Macomber stories: 1225 Christmas Tree Lane and a very early work, Christmas Masquerade.
1225 Christmas Tree Lane is the twelfth and final book in the popular Cedar Cove series by American author, Debbie Macomber. The main subjects of this final tale are Beth Morehouse, her ex-husband Kent and their daughters Bailey and Sophie. Beth lives and works at her Christmas tree farm at 1225 Christmas Tree Lane, where she also trains dogs. Her...more

I haven't read any in this series before, but I am enjoying the final book, which apparently touches on many of the previous stories. I love a sweet, homestyle Christmas book. I'm a sap ;)

Finished. A sweet 3 1/2 stars

I love Debbie Macomber's Christmas themed books and over the years I have really enjoyed her Cedar Cove series. I was a little sad when she announced that this would be the last book in the Cedar Cove series but it was a really good send off of the series. I still haven't gotten around to reading the last two books prior to this one, I have one on my shelf and one is on it's way to me from paperbackswap.com so I am going to have to catch up on them at some point. Each Cedar Cove book is set at a...more

1225 Christmas Tree Lane is the last novel in the Cedar Cove series by Debbie Macomber. I was sad to see this series come to an end. I have many fond memories of this small town and the residents who reside there. I was looking forward to this final book and it's holiday setting. I am sorry to say, that I was disappointed in Cedar Cove's closing act.

The novel is basically a re-cap of prior stories, giving the reader an update into past character's lives. It also tells the tale of Beth Morehouse...more

With 1225 Christmas Tree Lane, Debbie Macomber wraps up her Cedar Cove novels. This book must have been intended as a gift to the faithful readers of that series. Her listing of some of the residents of Cedar Cove includes at least sixty-seven characters. And, every one of them is mentioned in the book, along with their dogs.

Beth Morehouse is the focus of this particular story. The owner of the Christmas tree farm in town, she lives at 1225 Christmas Tree Lane, where she is also a dog trainer. A...more

Christmas normally brings thoughts of family, friends and decorations. There’s no place like Cedar Cove for the holidays.

Author Debbie Macomber has created the last entry in her Cedar Cove series with 1225 CHRISTMAS TREE LANE gathering everyone for the holidays.

The story centers around Beth Morehouse, owner of the local Christmas tree farm and animal rescuer. Someone has left 10 lab-mix puppies on her doorstep and she needs to find homes for them by Christmas. She’s looking forward to spending t...more

Reading and reviewing 1225 Christmas Tree Lane is rather bittersweet since this is the last book is Ms Macomber's popular Cedar Cove series. Twelve books later, there are so many plots to wrap up much of this book is jumping from couple to couple to see them once more, checking in to see if their happily-ever-after is still in tact... or we're watching that HEA finally come to fruition. I actually liked how Ms Macomber used the adoption of the...more

The novel closes with a one-sentence paragraph: “It was the kind of town anyone would love to call home.” That’s a fitting tribute for the town that brought Macomber’s career to a new level and gave her hometown a festival that attracted national and international visitors. It’s a town that readers have taken to their hearts, and surely there could be no better ending than Christmas when family and friends gather, happy to be home for the holiday.

You will note that I gave the book two grades. I...more

I've been known to say that I like happy endings tied up in a bow. In this case, Debbie Macomber gives me a big bow. This is the final book in her long-running series about the residents of Cedar Cove and she begins the book with a letter to her readers, telling them that various couples who met throughout the course of these books do indeed live happily ever after. Other couples get their happily ever after during the course of this book. If you have a favorite Cedar Cove resident, I'm sure you...more

"1225 Christmas Tree Lane" is the final book in Debbie Macomber’s long-running Cedar Cove series. Each book is named for a different home in the fictional town of Cedar Cove, Washington and focuses on its residents. 1225 Christmas Tree Lane is the address of a Christmas tree farm owned by Beth Morehouse. In addition to running the tree farm, Beth is also fostering rescue dogs. Christmas is almost here and Beth is juggling the tree farm business, finding homes for ten lively puppies, and making p...more

This book should come with a warning: have Kleenex nearby and get out your Cedar Cove collection. I am sad to see this series end. I love it. It is a heartwarming series that ends well. In this book we are treated to not only Beth and her ex-husband Kent's story but also a trip down memory lane with just about every character in Cedar Cove showing up for the final farewell. This book should probably not be read as the first Cedar Cove book you read. The various couples mentioned will most likely...more

I suppose I should start by letting you know this was my first adventure into Cedar Cove! (Really, somehow - despite being an avid romance reader for ten years now, I'd never read a Cedar Cove book.) I suppose kind of silly to read the final installment first! But none the less? I enjoyed it and now plan to go back and read the rest of the series.

I have to say I am a bit disappointed in the regurgitation of previous characters. I typically love that part of series romance novels, but this was a...more

As this Cedar Cove Series ends, faith and love flourishes at "1225 Christmas Tree Lane."

Debbie Macomber ends this wonderful series by tying up all the relationships that have broken and grown through the years and even threw in some new ones along the way. The main focus, though, is on Beth Morehouse and her ex-husband, Kent. Their daughters have schemed to get them back together for Christmas and their hopes are that the holiday will make them realize that the divorce was really just a bad mist...more

What a great series that I am sad to see finish. I have enjoyed following the lives of the people in Cedar Cove for the past few years. I do love the fact that all is well and happy and content at the end. I feel truly and totally fulfilled with this series. This book not only offered the original story of Beth Morehouse and her ex-husband Kent, but it touched on just about every person we've met in Cedar Cove. It offered up that one final glimpse into each person's life so we could see that the...more

Recently divorced Beth Morehouse runs a prospering Christmas tree farm in Cedar Cove, and is looking forward to a cozy, quiet Christmas with her college-aged daughters. But when someone leaves a basket of ten labrador-mix puppies on her doorstep days before Christmas, and when her daughters invite their father--Beth's ex-husband--home for the holiday, Beth finds that she is in for a truly memorable December. Beth races to find good homes for the ten pups and reconcile her conflicting feelings to...more

This is the conclusion to the Cedar Cove Novel. Beth Morehouse, who lives on Christmas Tree Lane and an exciting holiday to experience: She has 10 puppies to give away (thank goodness the member of Cedar Cove come to the rescue) and her daughters surprise her with a visit from their dad, Beth's ex-husband. If you are a fan, you maybe a little dissapointed that the series is over, but this little visit reminds the reader all the events that have happened in Cedar Cove. Like the owners of Thyme an...more

I have been one of the faithful readers of this series. I have greatly enjoyed the characters and the setting. "Who wouldn't love to come home to Cedar Cove" is the ending of the book and the series.

In this book we find Beth Morehouse facing Christmas with her two daughters and her ex-husband. She has just begun to develop a relationship with the local vet so she really isn't sure how she feels about this turn of events. What she doesn't know is that her daughters feel that their parents have m...more

1225 Christmas Tree Lane by Debbie Macomber
The last book in the Cedar Cove series, it's not a bad thing as the characters will
probably show up in other books. Sad to see the series end but this means also that
a new series will start.
Love summary of people at the beginning of the book, always a nice reference if you get lost along the way.
Think we are starting on 4th generation of some families, it's such a lovely bunch of caring
people.

Debbie Macomber writes wonderful romances with an involving immediacy of characterizations. She makes the people very real for the reader and quickly draws you into the story line. I read "1225 Christmas Tree Lane" all in one sitting because I really wanted to know the outcome of the reunion romance between Beth Morehouse and her former husband, Kent. Their determined matchmaking daughters, Bailey and Sophie, have one goal in mind: getting their mom and dad back together! Beth runs a Christmas t...more

This was different than what I normally read, and kinda soap opera like, only in that it jumps from couple to couple. Going from Divorced Beth and Kent to the rest of the couples, Beth's friends and neighbors in Cedar Cove!....I LOVED IT!!! I REALLY liked Beth and Kent! (And the other couples!) I liked that even though Cedar Cove is a series, I didn't feel lost that I hadn't read any other of Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove books 'yet'. I have been a faithful fan until the end. It was difficult to say goodbye after these characters have twined themselves around your heart.

Debbie Macomber didn't let her fans down. She didn't rush to a quick finish to her beloved series. She not only provided a great story; she also was able to tie all her previous characters into the final book.

This is the last book in the Cedar Cove series. This last installment introduces a divorced Mom named Beth Morehouse who owns a local tree farm. Her daughters are coming home from college for Christmas and have told their father that their mother wants him to come home for the holiday and told their mother their father wants to spend the holiday with them all. A parent trap! There is one snafu with the girls plans though, their father brings a female 'friend' with him.

The book also has cameos o...more

Definitely a really good Christmas read. I have read most of Macomber's Christmas books and really have never been let down. This was my first time delving into the iconic Cedar Cove series, and I do feel that not knowing all of the characters and backgrounds was for me what made it 4 stars instead of 5. She does have a listing of all the characters and backgrounds in the beginning, and I found myself flipping back and forth constantly to try and figure out who was who. It isnt like this made it...more

In this last book of the Cedar Cove series, Debbie Macomber wraps up a Christmas reat. Not only does she wrap up loose ends from all the previous books, but gives a new Christmast story to enjoy as well.

Beth and Kent divorced three years ago--nothing big broke up their marriage, just a series of little things that drew them apart. Their college age daughters are coming to Cedar Cove to visit Beth and say that Kent wants to come too. Imagine everyone's surprise when Kent shows up--with Danielle.

I picked up this book a few days ago. I'm a big fan of Debbie Macomber and I'm a true Labrador Retriever lover, especially Chocolate Labs. The picture on the cover of a basket with 3 Chocolate Lab puppies inside grabbed me by the heart. When I saw who the author was it was a no brainer to grab a copy. I was not dissapointed. Her characters are always rich and her stories always draw you in. This story about a couple who grew apart and divorced, but never stopped loving each other was full of ant...more
