Ok. I admit it. I am a hopeless fan of Patricia Wynn’s Blue Satan Series. A Killing Frost is the fourth book in the series which is set in the early 1700’s in England.

The two main characters are Hester. Kean and the outlawed Lord Hawkhurst, (Viscount St. Mars), who was wrongly accused of a murder in the first book and who remains in hiding. I always look forward to the latest book by Patricia Wynn - too bad it's usually about 4 years between books! This latest in the Blue Satan series once again found St. Mars and Mrs. Kean working together to solve a murder as well as solving some other problems. The books are set in the early 1700's which doesn't get a lot of attention it seems. The book does a good job of balancing the political tensions with every day life.
