Shelves: salome
As someone who likes to read books by unknown novelists, and books about Salome, I have the priveledge to come across some real gems from time to time. This is not one of them, even if it is obvious that ample research has gone into it. On the other hand, this book is seasoned with vivid but unsubstantiated imagination. Unfortunately, in a historical novel about a (once) existing person, one's imagination is, by inference, constricted by known facts.
