Most people have an obsession. They drink too much, eat too much, do drugs, watch too much TV or something along those lines. The people that Mr. Lupsha interviews in this engaging book obsess over doing good. They just happen to enjoy wearing masks and spandex while doing their good deeds, which is unfortunate, because they probably would enjoy more credibility.... Everyone loves a hero. Each one of us possesses a spark of heroism if we chose to ignite it. I actually really enjoyed this book. I picked it up at a con and wasn't really sure what to expect. The author seemed like a really cool guy, so I decided to give this book a shot. It's full of interviews with real life super heros (yes, people actually do this!) and honestly, this book inspired me to want to be a better person and do charity work of my own (although not necessarily in costume). It seems like Jonny really gets into his work, and I'm definitely going to look into his other books!

I am simply fascinated by the idea of regular people dressing up and trying to fight crime. I would like to have seen more corroboration of information from subject interviews but understand the difficulty there. The author gets a big "E" for Effort!
