The best book ever written about ... a book. And a deliciously scandalous book (Candy), at that.

okay, I've been obsessed with Terry Southern...and here's my article to prove it: http://www.dissidentvoice.org/2009/01/st...

what can I say? he's worth it. this book is probably only for hardcore fans like me, though. a lot of letters go back and forth about who owes what to whom. underneath is a cautionary tale about money and desire and the miseries of the writerly life.
