I really enjoyed reading this book. This book is written from the point of view of a small child who talks about all the many reasons why he loves his daddy. This book is very engaging with the large print and colorful illustrations. Also, the text uses repetition and rhyming which is great for the younger audience. I found this book stand out because there are not a lot of books out there that talk about fathers, especially for younger students.

I have no doubt children will enjoy this typical picture book about the relationship between the toddler and the dad. I liked that from the illustrations and the words, the child could be either a boy or a girl. It includes all the typical daily activities between the two characters. It was not exceptional nor unique but it was still something I would not hesitate to buy for a grandchild or my own child. They would love it.
Sweet and simple. I love Emma Dodds large scale illustrations for young readers. The picture of fatherhood is a little on the traditional side, but should be acceptable to most families. There is no mother at all, so it would work for single and same-sex families. The rhyme scheme is a little sing-song, but is vert toddler friendly.
