Rien n'a pu m'arracher à Mermoz ces deux derniers jours. Kessel met à profit ses talents de conteur et se fait le biographe de son ami Jean Mermoz, pilote et aventurier, dont il retrace l'itinéraire du désert libyen à l'Aéropostale en Amérique du Sud. On se passionne pour l'aviation, on se passionne pour celui qui était surnommé "l'Archange" et on admire le style de Kessel. A lire sans hésitation !

Pentru orice iubitor de calatorii “vanatul” ofertelor speciale pentru bilete de avion a devenit un fel de ritual zilnic, daca nu, macar saptamanal. Joseph Kessel was a French journalist and novelist.He was born in Villa Clara, Entre Ríos, Argentina, because of the constant journeys of his father, a Lithuanian doctor of Jewish origin. Joseph Kessel lived the first years of his childhood in Orenburg, Russia, before the family moved to France. He studied in Nice and Paris, and took part in the First World War as an aviator.
