I really really really like this book! Its filled with tons and tons of humor, making me anxious to turn the page each time! This book is in the series of the confessions of Georgia Nicolson. Other than the books humor, the book is written like a diary, which is my favorite style of writing. In the book Georgia writes about her life a teenage, dealing with stuff that most teenage girls experience. I like the character because she is sort of dorky, she isn't the perfect cheerleader, shes a normal ...more

I did not like this book because it is about a teenage girls diary that does not have a hook to keep me interested in reading more. After reading 15 pages, I could not get interested in the book. It seems to be random writing without a story to it. There are 10 pages of definitions to made-up words used by the main character, Georgia who is a teenage in England writing in her diary. Why would I want to look up made-up words to understand what is going on in the diary? It is a banned book beca...more

What I Learned from this Book: That Louise Rennison is not going to wrap up Georgia's story in three books. No, she's going to keep dragging it out. More specifically she is going to keep dragging and dragging and dragging the Dave the Laugh and Georgia relationship out until readers no longer care if they get together or not. It's obvious to everyone but Georgia that Dave the Laugh is her soul mate, and Rennison needs to write responsibly and hook Georgia and Dave up.

And then end th...more

I read this book in a couple of hours and hated every page. Not only is every entry repetitive, shallow and annoying with a frustratingly vain narrator (who thinks everyone has a preoccupation with her breasts), but its message also irritated me: the fifteen year old protagonist has her mind fixed narrowly on sex, boys and make-up. Nothing else, and considering teen books are generally aimed at an audience a few years younger than the protagonist, I found this outlook bleak and boring.

These books just get funnier and funnier. I've always enjoyed British humor, but this just goes over the edge. The Georgia Nicolson books are a series of journal entries from a 14 yr old English girl who's priorities are completely in the wrong place and spends most of her time focusing on snogging (kissing) than on pretty much anything else. I could go on and on about how good these books are, but there's just no way to describe it unless you read it.

Alright, I love the silly girl. Especially when she says things like "It made every minute feel like it was 60 seconds long" and then something about "making more sense out of a potato..." (eh, I haven't the book in front of me.)

And how she loves France, well, except for all the French that are there.

I've already ordered the other 5 books sent to my library.

Wheeeeeeeee!!!!!!

Georgia's dictionary is so funny. I was absorb reading this book! I'm irritated by the fact that Georgia has a lot of admirers she is so lucky having Robbie the "Sex God" as her boyfriend... plus D the Laugh... and many more boys in the next books. At the end of the day I was just bitter coz she's enjoying her lovelife and I don't! LOL!

This is the third in the series. i read it after the first one, because i only got the first and third for christmas. I thought it was the same as the first one. It was still really funny, but neither book was very deep or meaningful, which I guess is allright.
I would recommend it for someone who wants to read a light, funny book

Ok, this actually comes BEFORE nuddy pants, but I thought it was so funny, I didn't notice. So, that must mean that anyone can jump in anywhere and get the idea. I still think I like . . . My Boyfriend Is a Sex God the best, but Georgia is always hilarious. Go Gee!

I am disappointed that I have finally outgrown this series. I loved it a lot when I was younger and was excited to see books I hadn't read.

I guess this is what happens when you're 23. Whiny, self-absorbed 14 year olds aren't as awesome anymore.

The third in a series of funny books about a British schoolgirl named Georgia. They're cute but they're written in such a way that they could never possibly be an actual journal. Grr.

Georgia Nicolson is one of my all-time favorite fictional characters. Each book is as delightful as the next and I cannot wait until I have them all in my collection.

I really like how ridiculously british L. Rennison's Books are. There is a really nice glossary in the back which defines non-american English words. silly fun.

""...Then it said on the news, "And tonight the Prime Minister has just got to Number Ten." I looked down at Jas and said, "Ooer." Meaning he'd got to number ten on the snogging scale. And then we both laughed like loons. Vati just looked at us like we were mad."" more quotes »
