Definitely interesting to see. But folktales often seem to be good frameworks for stories, rather than good stories in themselves. It would be interesting to write versions of these stories that really explored the characters, as people have done for some of them.

Charles Perrault's tales are fantastic!! No wonder Walt Disney took pretty much all his stories to make movies!!
