This is a kind of miniature dictionary by Chesterton in the style of the great Johnson. Chesterton didn't compile it; rather it is a work of love, gathering his many definitions of words (scattered in dozens of writings) into one fun book.

Now, much of it was over my head, but every definition gave me much to think about, and in that way this was a thought-transforming read.

Loved it; this is Chesterton at his best.
