I love a good suspense book that has you guessing who the bad guys are all the way to the end. The Threat of Exposure is about a female Texas Ranger, Gisella, and her new temporary DEA partner Brock. Somebody killed Gisella's captain and she is determined to find out who. She is pretty sure it has to do with a gang that is smuggling drugs across the border and teams up with Brock to go to the location where she believes the illegals are getting across. All they have to go off of is a black book ...more

This Love Inspired Suspense is a fast paced mystery about two people who are paired to find drug traffickers on the Mexican border. To add to the suspense, they fall in love and find a mutual desire to not only catch criminals in a town where everyone is suspect, but protect each other (in a fiercer than usual manner). They are surprised when they discover who is behind the smuggling and how it is accomplished - and I think you will be too, so I recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good mystery ...more

#5 Texas Ranger Justice

Information on a flash drive indicates Box Hill, Texas as a location. Texas Ranger Gisella Hernandez teams up with DEA Agent Brock Martin and they head to Box Hill to see if they decipher the code and find out how drugs are getting across the border.

They discover the town does not welcome strangers.

And that they are walking around with targets on their foreheads.

And that an informant wants to show them something in the graveyard.

How does it all tie together?

Threat of Exposure by Lynette Eason Texas Ranger Justice Book 5
Gisella Hernandez, the only female Ranger at Company D, has been sent to Boot Hill, Texas to figure out the initials that were found on Axle Hudson's flash drive. She became a Ranger to fight drugs and it's a battle that is personal to her. If only her parents could appreciate what she is fighting for rather than worrying about her. Marriage and a family are something she desires but not many men approve of a woman with a dangerous j
DEA Agent Brock Martin and Texas Ranger Gisella Hernandez are creating a stir, and not just between each other's emotions. Someone is not happy that they are in town. After arriving in the small border town of Boot Hill, Texas, business seems to pick up in a hurry. They are quickly made aware that not everyone in town is rolling out the Welcome Mat. In fact they are not even sure the local law enforcement is very happy to see them. However this will not dissuade them from investigating the locat ...more

Great relaxing read.

I really enjoyed this book. Lynette Eason is one of my favorite authors. She writes great suspense stories where characters struggle n find a right relationship with God. A very good book.
A little cheesy in some spots, very predictable, but a good read.

I've been reading through the Texas Ranger Justice series this week. Threat of Exposure is another very good book. This is the story of the female ranger of the group, Gisella Henandez. She is partnered with DEA agent Brock Martin. Things get very interesting as they work on the drug related crimes connected with the murder of her boss from the first book in the series. I've enjoyed reading the books all at once.

I'm not usually a big fan of shorter novels, but this book was great. The mystery was very intriguing and I thought that I had it all figured out, but I was wrong, which delighted me. :o) I love surprises at the end of a good suspense.
This book is apparently part of a series written by several different gals. I want to check out the rest of the series. It's a fun read.
Brock Martin isn't looking for a female cop in his life. Gisella Hernandez is looking for drug runners, not a handsome DEA agent. They both find more than they bargained for. A good story with enough suspense to keep the pages turning, enough clues to figure out the crime, and enough romantic spark to satisfy the reader's heart. Enjoyable read!
I loved the fact that this book focused on Gisella, the only female ranger in the troop, and the plotline was better than average by illustrating good detective work (although that attraction could come from the fact that I watch too much NCIS). That said, Brock's interest in Gisella, with no prior knowledge of her, came about a bit too quickly.
I've never read a book by Lynette Eason before but I will definitely be looking for her other books. This one was super! Full of suspense, well paced, absolutely loved Gisella and Brock, and good twists. I can't wait to read the last book and see how everything turns out!
I loved it. Brock and Gisella have an instant chemistry from the moment she saves his life. It is a fast paced and wonderful read.
really good, I love these Luve inspired suspense books, clean, fast paced. This is another in the Texas Ranger justice series.
