This is a truly uplifting story about everything one must go through when finding love over the age of 35. It had me laughing out loud one minute and pondering about my future the next. While I personally do not fit the demographic for this book, I could still relate to many of the stories shared by The Garter Brides. While I don't fall into the category of a Garter Bride, I still found the book insightful and inspirational. According to the authors, also collectively known as The Garter Brides, a 'Garter Bride' is a woman who marries at the age of 35 or over whether it’s her first marriage or her third. I was very curious about this book even though I knew I wasn't the target audience. Love for Grown Ups is a self-help book for women still searching for their special one whether they have never been married or looking for love after divorce.
