I liked it as well, as the stakes were higher than the first, but the characters were starting to get a little grating. I am all for sass, but they were outright nasty to each other, to the point where you wondered "why"? In the first book, there was a reasons. Here? Not so much.

Not as good as the first, but still pretty decent. I had a hard time telling some of the characters apart.

Not as good as the first one since there wasn't that much magic but it did a good job with pop culture references.
