This is a 4.5 stars extra. :)
I'm ever so slightly concerned with Miranda's prediction, but all things considered it may be a thread that dead ended. Or it may come back in a later installment. We'll see. It hasn't come back into play yet and we are awaiting the release of book 14.
I love Halloween, but I feel sad knowing that the Glass House four can't celebrate it normally. Or Morganville residents in general for that matter. Personally, I go with the whole honoring of the day of the dead thing...more

One Year after the horrific Dead Girl's Dance Morganville hosts another Halloween dance--but will this one turn out any better for The Glass House crew? The most interesting thing about this story was that it was told from Eve's POV, whereas the books are told from Claire's, and Eve has a distinctly different view of the world. More assured and confident in herself, Eve notices little things an...more

All Hallows is book #6.5 in the Morganville Series by Rachel Caine. This short story is from Eve's point of view and takes place on Halloween. Eve, Claire, Shane, and Michael are heading to a costume party. Michael plans to meet the gang there, after a trip to the blood bank. When Michael is delayed, the gang heads to his rescue and end up in even more trouble. I enjoyed this shortie and reading about CB from Eve's perspective.

All Morganville Vamps fans must read it – it’s a great story from Eve’s POV, giving us another look at the fiascos that come with celebrating Halloween in Morganville. We get to laugh and scream with Eve, Michael, Clare (CB XD) and Shane, and enjoy the addition of hilariously-addled Miranda. Loved it! Made me go back to the series after a break of a couple of months.

“I can't believe you did that.'
'Why?' I felt a little weak at the knees, and I wasn't at all sure it was due to a sudden drop in blood pressure. 'Why wouldn't I? With you?'
He put his arms around me and kissed me. That was a whole different kind of hunger, one I understood way better. Michael backed me up against the car and kissed me like it was the last night on earth, like the sun and stars would burn down before he'd let me go.
The only thing that slowed us down was Shane saying, very clearly, 'I am driving off and leaving you here, I swear to God. You're embarrassing me.'
Michael pulled back just enough that our lips were touching, but not pressed together, and sighed. There was so much in that sound, all his longing and his fear and his need and his frustration. 'Sorry,' he said.
I smiled. 'For what?'
He was still holding his thumb over the wound on my wrist. 'This,' he said, and pressed just a little harder before letting go. It didn't bleed.
I purred lightly, and nipped at his mouth. 'I'm Catwoman,' I reminded him. 'And it's just a scratch.”

“I need to be a vampire," she said. "and I want one of them to make it happen. Michael will do fine. I don't care who turns me. The important thing is that if I change, I'll be a princess."
