“A Star for Anana,” is an adorable story about a young polar bear cub that is learning life lessons from her mother. She eventually loses her way and tries to remember the lessons her mother tried to teach her. Children will be able to relate to this little character and how afraid they would feel if they were lost. The illustrations are cute and I loved the free audio download code at the end of the book. I read A Star for Anana with my six year old daughter; and while reading, something must have distracted me momentarily because I paused briefly. At this point my daughter said, "Mommy, keep reading." which seems to sum up quite nicely the fact that Carolyn Davis has written an attention grabbing book that is sure to please even the toughest critics, namely children.
