Judy & Marianne from Long and Short Reviews
The author caught my attention immediately because her main character is blonde, gets her fingernails done, wears customized coveralls and carries a pink hammer. And, even though it’s untraditional role for a female, she likes being a handy “person”!

This book is a refresher. Not only is the main female character kinda prissy, but she isn't a dumb bobble-headed blonde. I loved that Vee was a strong character, she didn't let anyone bowl her over. I also liked that when push came to shove, she acted like most women would. I enjoyed this book from start to finish. It had humor, some teary moments and lots of happy times.
