Into mountaineering? Then read this book. I knew Lou Whittaker when I lived near Mt. Rainier - he is a great guy in person too!
I really enjoyed reading Lou's book and having a firsthand look into the mountaineering. I also had a unique opportunity to meet and climb with Lou Whittaker in person, making the read that much more meaningful for me.
reasonably good book though not as good as the books by his brother. If you're aching for another armchair mountaineering experience this is still well worth it.
