Mischa is the youngest wild-child son of a Hollywood media company family, including famous parents. He lives off his trust fund and his brothers bet him he can't find a job and live for a year without using his trust fund. He's pissed and takes them on. Unfortunately his last chance at a job, as he's evicted and his Porche repossessed, is as a housekeeper for Donovan, an ad agency exec. He's instantly attracted but figures he'll scare Mischa off with the tasks, but he agrees and moves in. He's...more

I loved this book . . . I found Mischa to be simply adorable. Of course, my one complaint is that I would have loved this to be oh about 20-30K words more . . . but then it wouldn’t be a novella now would it. But between you and me I have that complaint with all of Lee Brazil’s books . . . I truly believe it is the youngest child syndrome – I always want more more more.

I especially liked how he primed me for the next book in the series . . . and I’m hopeful that I see Donovan and Mischa sporadic...more

I loved this story and I hope there will be another book to give us more time with Mischa and Donovan, I mean they have a baby on the way... The twins and Terry's enjoyment form watching them could be another story *hint, hint*. You have an amazing talent for story telling, the descriptive way you set up a scene makes it so easy to see everything in my head. It really helps to form a connection with the story. You have another fan for life. Thank You Mr.Brazil

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! This is a well-written, amazing, sweet and tender love story. It has plenty of erotic spice too but all in a very intimate, loving way.

This is a delightful book. I rec it to anyone who enjoys loving romance with a side of very hot sex. I've been disappointed in several books recently and it was a relief to plunge into the world created by Lee for his characters, to laugh and love with them. My only complaint is the length. I wanted much much more.

This story had great bones & I really loved the primary AND secondary characters. Which is pretty awesome for a book this short. BUT I think this book would have been much better if there was more. The ending was extremely rushed. Maybe I'm just bitter because the 2nd book in this series doesn't seem to be available yet.

I loved this book. It was so sweet. I loved Donovan and Mischa and I enjoyed Mischa's brother's and also his friends. I want more of everyone. I wish it would have been longer, I wanted to keep reading about everyone!

I really enjoyed this short story. (I read it in one sitting) Mischa and Donovan are just adorable. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author. (hopefully a big longer in length!)

I loved this story. Sweet and sexy. I loved all the characters and was so proud of Mischa getting his life together. I wished it was a bit longer but really, really enjoyed it.

Reread Jan 2013 - Enjoyed it (and the series) just as much the second time around...

This is such a sweet story. Donovan and Mischa are a great couple. Can't wait to read the next one in the series and let's hope it will be a bit longer!

It was 2 stars when I finished it but the more I think about it the grumpier I get, so now it's 1 star.

D I wasn't sure what to read next so I went for something short. I was still in a m/m mood, so I started on this one - a book I bought a while back but could remember nothing about when I got started. It is just over 50 pages. It made me grumpy. The more I think about it, the grumpier I am. A trust fund baby, 20 year old Mischa accepts a dare from his 3 older brothers to support himself for on...more

I loved this book. I finished it in one long session; I literally could not put it down. Mischa is so loving from the very start, how could Donovan resist him. I loved how Lee Brazil didn't shy from their attraction to each other but instead used it as a strength to the book. Even though the two men knew that it was a very bad idea as employer/employee to become involved, the atraction was there and so strong, they went for it. Well done Mr. Brazil. I can't wait for Terry's story :)

I am hoping this will be a series about the brothers.. I can see where book 2 may go already and it is one of my face taboos!(I should say that I THINK I see where book 2 will go)
Really enjoyed this one. Not a fan of insta-love and this was quick but it worked!
Great sweet story.

I enjoyed this book, Mischa and Donovan made for a nice couple, I thougth that Mischa's brothers were obnoxious and overbearing. I really like the fact the Mischa found out who his real friends were after the money ran out. Again enjoyed the read can't wait for the next installment of this series.

I simply adored this book. It was sweet, romantic, funny, and way too short.

Mischa was so spunky, sweet and the perfect partner for Donovan. Secondary characters were fascinating and I hope they will all be included in the next few books.

Mr. Brazil's stories always has a strong romantic, fall in love forever storyline. I really enjoy my HEA and he never fails to deliver. I am a "huge" fan and as long as he writes, I will read.

Great book, just the right amount of humor.

I love stories where the main characters have an age difference between them. I also love opposites attract stories. This fits both of those. Mischa is a wild child, a trust fund baby who is dared by his older (and controlling) brothers to get a job and walk away from his trust fund for a year. He has to completely support himself without any help from the family at all. If he doesn't do this, he will be forced (manipulated) into doing what the brothers want him to do... not what HE wants to do....more

This storyline sounded intriguing to me about a young rich play boy who takes his brothers' dare to find a job and support himself for a year.

Mischa lives a very shallow haphazard existence bouncing from party to party until his brothers challenge him to either get responsible on his own or go to college and work in the family film-making business. Mischa is not interested in working with his brothers so decides to try it on his own.

Donovan just got promoted and with this next step in his career...more

He’s living off his trust fund and not being a contributing member of the family so one Wednesday night at the brothers’ weekly poker game they make a bet of truth and dare...and when Mischa realizes that he’s been played by his brothers it’s too late. This is a nice, simple, quick story .... a beginning of a series about the lives and loves of 4 brothers. Fans of love at first sight will love this book. And the dynamics between the brothers are fun. There are 2 points that drop my rating to a 3/3.5 for an otherwise enjoyable read ... and both have to do with timeline.

1) This first book is focused on Mischa, the youngest, edgy, and supposed "irresponsible" brother. And yet no sooner are we told that is who Mischa is he transforms into a romant...more

KEEPING HOUSE is the first story I have read by Lee Brazil. I have had the pleasure of interacting with her on Facebook and have grown to love her personality, but to read her novella, to spend time getting to know Donovan Holloway and Mischa Blake was a real treat.

Mischa is a character who is full and deep. He is a free spirit. In many ways, when we first meet him, he seems like a bit of a spoiled brat; a trust-find baby. Tormented by his older brothers who want him to enter into the family bu...more

After some days spending reading wonderful but not light novels, I really needed something different, a Hollywood comedy style story. Aside from the nice coincidence that indeed Keeping House is set in Hollywood, Los Angeles, it’s you all around love comedy plot with a cinderfella twist. Micha Blake is the spoiled younger son of a very wealthy family of Hollywood producers; he doesn’t like the family business, but he doesn’t disdain their money. When his brothers dare him to find a job and maint...more

Mischa three brothers want Mischa to stop being a party animal, go to college and become what they consider an upstanding citizen. To the brothers that means working in the family production studio. But that’s not really Mischa’s thing and though he loves his brothers to pieces he hates that they constantly try to run his life. During their weekly Wednesday night poker game the brothers play a game of truth or dare with Mischa (which is completely planned by the brothers and Mischa is smart enou...more

Mischa is a trust fund baby and the youngest of four brothers. The misfit of the family, his questionable lifestyle bugs his brothers and they come together to do what is best for him. In one losing hand of poker, which doesn't really make sense as he didn't lose all his money, he's stuck with a dare.

Mischa ends up working as a butler/gardener/cook/housekeeper for Donovan. I'm actually kind of impressed at Mischa's ingenuity. While he may not how to do anything practical, like keeping house, he'...more

Keeping House (Truth or Dare book 1) by Lee Brazil
* I received a copy of this book from Breathless Press in exchange for an honest review*

Mischa is a typical trust fund baby. He has more money than he knows what to do with and goes through it like water. His brother deposits money into his account monthly because he can’t fully access his trust fund until he is 35. He enjoys his care free life style and does everything he can to piss his brother’s off.

During the weekly poker game he is tricked i...more
