Young Reader Reaction: Our daughter thought Oscar was cute ... and she immediately wanted her own pet turtle.

Adult Reader Reaction: This is a cute story, especially since it was based on real events. We have had our fair share of visiting turtles, and it was nice to talk about those memories.

Pros: Cute illustrations propel this story about a turtle named Oscar.
