In this book, every second was action. We had questions about what was happening in the book, and the author answered them. It let us in on the life of a stealer, how it could have turned into a life of crime, and how the main character turned it around. I also liked the way the ending wasn't perfect it was more realistic, and keeps you with a slight "Arrrggh" feeling. Thank you T. Varrato.
So I nominated this one but after reading more of the other QP nominees this is not one of my favorites. I do like the whole idea that bad guys do try to have morals. When it all goes bad can you stick to those rules you have set up for life?
It serves its purpose - a high-interest, low-reading level book for teenagers.
Not bad for a really short novel.
