Mystical, magical and mysterious.

I read the author note and see that this was inspired by the Scorpion King with The Rock. I found this story to be a bit muddled.

I found this story to be intriguing if not completely developed. There were some gaps in the world building. The prophecy wasn't fully explained. It's as if there are pieces missing that own the author knew and kept in her mind. After a while, I could care less about it as I just wanted to read the sex scenes. The sex scenes were barely memorable. I skimmed through the

When I first saw the description for The Scorpion Queen, I was nothing if not curious. In reading this book, I found that the story was really catchy (escpecially for erotica), and it was incredibly easy to read.

Scorpathia is a queen willing to do whatever she must to protect her land and give her people peace. She has resigned herself to the fact that she will always be alone – for every man she has called for has perished – and that she is doomed to fight wars with those who want her land unti

I like strong female characters who hold their own. That is why I hated fairy tales when I was a child. There’s much more to a story for a woman than waiting for a prince to rescue her in a locked tower or just a plain happily ever a

Wow…. Wow…. Loved this book I read it in one sitting.

I did find it a little difficult to jump in and out of the dream scenes… which I must say were so completely hot that I had to stop and get toys…

But I re read the book because I enjoyed it that much that I wanted to make sure I had not missed anything.

This is an erotic story which is set in a far different world to what we live in. The Queen has so much pressure on her to be a queen to her people and then

Dynamic, exciting, and hard to put down. Alexis Ke writes a strong, sexy, beautiful heroine worth admiring. She writs a hero to fall in love with. If you love erotic adventures with paranormal elements and a fantasy/historical feel, you'll enjoy this one.
