I seriously need to reread these books again. I haven't read them in a good 5 or so years. These were right up there with Harry Potter.

Scourge is one of my favorites. You can't help but love him, even though he's a bit evil. ;)

This book was great to read! It is part of the series WARRIOR Cats. In this book Firestar, starting out as a pampered house cat becomes leader of ThunderClan, and the time has come for him and his clan to fight a life or death battle for the future of the forest.
This Book was written by Erin Hunter. I really enjoy the way she writes, because she makes it seem as if you were in the story yourself, and even though it is all made up fantasy, she makes it seem as if it could actually happen in rea

Until I’m old and gray, I will always champion the Warriors series as one of my all-time favorites, despite the fact that the first book wasn’t published until I was 23 and they are supposedly written for 8-year-olds.

If you aren’t familiar, the Warriors books follow four clans of what we would call feral cats that battle each other, and sometimes work together towards common enemies (two-legs, dogs, rogue cats, etc.). The first arch begins when a kittypet (house cat) is recruited into Thundercla

Oh my god, this book was very, VERY, tense and thrilling. The end has come of the series, and it certainly was everything I was hoping for. There is lots of death and it is actually quite sad. This was definatly my favorite book.

The grand finale to the epic series. Well, at least the first series of books. I was disappointed by the last book, mostly because it revolved around a mystery that the readers knew the answer to from the beginning. This time it was done much better. The prologue has Tigerstar meeting a clan of cats from Twoleg place. This isn't planned as a mystery, and as such it puts us into a position where we know more than the characters. They know something bad is coming, we know a little more, but it sti ...more

Recommends it for: children starting to read longer chapter books
This is the sixth and last book in the Warriors series. It appears to be the first series of many about wild cats. With more than 300 pages, this is a great book for children to start expanding their reading comprehension abilities and challenging themselves with longer books.

I love books that get our girls excited to read and this series did that for our youngest. She is in love with this series! I like to read whatever they are reading, so we can chat about the stories and discuss the charact

THE BEST Warriors book of them all (and I've read all 3 series). This book wonderfully brings the first epic Warriors series to a conclusion. Fireheart receives his nine lives as a leader, which is unbelievably fascinating to read. I felt like I was there with Fireheart when he received his nine lives and became Firestar. As Firestar settles into his new role, we draw closer tot he final confrontation between Firestar and Tigerstar. But that confrontation might be different than you expected. An ...more

The thrilling conclusion to the excellent Warriors series! I have very much enjoyed my foray into this world, even staying up late some nights to get books finished and turning up woke bleary eyed and feeble minded. I followed along with Firestar all the way to his receiving of nine lives, and the ultimate showdown with Tigerstar (not to spoil anything, but wow, that was unexpected!) And now, armed with the knowledge about this world, I can move on to other series in the collection. I knew what ...more

Despite the fact that I read this book a few years ago, I can still remember the intense emotion and thrills that my pre-teen self experienced after reading the final book of the first arc in Erin Hunter's Warriors series. While this series appears to be a mild-mannered cat fable, it is in fact more than that, and this book is proof. With riveting battle sequences executed with seamless transition, the action leaves the young heart pounding, especially with the climax and denouement of the final ...more

The book begins with the leader of Thunderclan, Bluestar, dying. As her deputy, Fireheart becomes the new leader of the clan. Oh by the way, these are all cats. Yes, this book is different from others. In this book, humans are called twolegs and cats talk to each other. It's an interesting subject, because you don't usually see a book with jus

An amazing finish to the first Prophesy! I must admit, I never saw the climax coming and, what had been building in my mind from books 2 through 5 of this series ... well, I am not often surprised but I will say that I didn't see this coming. If you've read the books in order, you will find the true meaning of StarClan's prophesy:
"Four will become two.
Lion and tiger will meet in battle,
and blood will rule the forest."
The authors have done a masterful job of weaving the story from beginning to en

I thought Warriors 6: The Darkest Hour was a very good book because the main character has such a good heart. Also, I love the plot and the mystery in the forest. Plus, the detail added in the book are very specific.

The darkest hour was one of my favorite warriors books. Scourage and the rest of blood clan was a very cool detail in this story. Scince scourage kills one of the cats, (didn't want to be a real spoiler) because they dissaprove of a fight, the real battle begins. Firestar loses his first life and I loved the interaction with Firestar and Starclan. Totally recommendend this book to any young reader.

I can't wait to read the next series, The New Prophecy, I hope it is just as good as this was. Although I'm a little bummed that Firestar wont be the main character. I recommend these books to anyone who love suspense, cats and the wilderness. When you read the first book it may seem a little slow, but, stay with it the rest of the books are the best and you wont be able to put them down. ...more

Wild and free warrior cats definitely have interesting stories. But also very difficult lives, as they are sometimes cold, hungry and they also have to fight for territory. I'd make all of them plump "kittypets" who won't need to go to war or freeze in the forest

“Bloodclan, Attack!"
Not a cat moved
Tigerstar's amber eyes widened and he screeched "Attack, I order you!"
Still none of the warriors moved, eccept for the small black cat who took a pace forward. He glanced twored Firestar. "I am Scourge, leader of Bloodclan," he meowed, his voice cold and quiet. "Tigerstar, my warriors are not yours to command. They will attack when I tell them, and not before."
The look Tigerstar gave him was incredulous and glittered with all the hatred he had ever shown to Firestar, as is he couldn't beleive that this scrap of a cat was defying him. Firestar seized his oppertunity. He paced forward untill he stood right infront of the two leaders. Behind him, he heard graystripe hiss, "Firestar,be
careful!"
But this was no time for being careful. The very future of the forest was at stake, balanced on the breadth of a hair between Tigerstar's bloodthirsty quest for power and the whims of the unknown bloodclan.
Now Firestar could see that the collar Scourge wore around his neck was studded with teath--The teath of dogs, and...CATS' teath too. Great Starclan! Did they kill their own kind and wear there teath as trophies?”

“Whitestorm was experienced, wise and brave. When Firestar had been made deputy, he had shown not a scrap of resentment that a lesser cat might have felt. He had supported him from the beginning, and he was the cat Firestar naturally turned to when he needed advice.” 34 likes
