Angels Would Fall
by
J.S. Wayne (Goodreads Author)
Take one more, ferry her along. Soulbearer Moradiel recounts his duties while collecting his latest assignment, nurse Ariel. Tragic accident--seems simple. But in the RN's final moments asleep at the wheel of her speeding car, stirrings grip Moradiel's angelic heart. Stirrings so forbidden that to simply give voice to them is to risk expulsion from his Heavenly abode.

J.S. Wayne has a very fluid writing style. This book is a great, super-fast read that gets your feet (or wings) wet in this series! He does an excellent character build in such a short story. This book gets you hooked from the start and ready to move on to books #2 and #3! I highly recommend you get all three books at once, as you'll be smacking yourself on the forehead when you have to go on-line to get the others at 3 a.m.!
While a short story, ANGELS WOULD FALL is packed with emotion and vivid imagery. The plot poses an interesting premise with the "angel of death" captivated by one of his "victims" and details his struggle with whether he should risk it all to be with her. This erotic story is far more than sex, and the sex is written with heart. ANGELS WOULD FALL is a fast read, but a thoroughly enjoyable one.
This ends the debate if a het male can write romance.
The answer is YES!
Angels would fall is a heavenly tale of Soul-bearer Moradiel who suddenly comes in conflict with his angelic lineage and duty when his latest assignment captures his heart.
JS Wayne deftly weaves angelic lore and sweet romance to produce a vibrant, sexy story.
My only complaint-it was too short!
More, please!

It's hard often times to find a quick read that's got all the bells and whistles: believable characters with believable emotions and motivation, a well-built world and, let's not forget, hot romance. Angels Would Fall accomplishes all of this and more! Wayne is a great writer who creates a lush, sensual world from word one. This is definitely an author to follow.
Sara H says "Angels Would Fall is a super short, super-hot, and super touching story." Check out more on NRR http://www.nocturnereads.com/Angels-W...
A fantastic and intriguing read. If you’re looking for a short, fun paranormal story with hot sex and plot, this may very well be the book for you. :)
