The plot itself wasn't fact it had a fair amount of potential I think. But in a cheating situation if the couple is going to reunite there has to be done type of redemption. stories involving cheating have an uphill road for me, and this one wasn't up to the climb
Short, angsty, and HOT.
I feel I'm being generous with the 2 stars considering how disappointed I was in the end, but 2 stars indicate "It's ok" at GR, so that's what we'll stick with. The early part of the book read like McKay was giving his/her own version of the Tor/Jake disaster, but that stopped pretty quick. The whole "let's work this out while we fuck" thing never, ever works for me and that's precisely what was done here, much to the detriment of the book. Could have been so much better.
Anyone who knows me knows that my #1 passion is m/m cowboys! Yummy. While this book was good and the sex was great. It did feel like only half a story, I felt like it was lacking the real guts of a story. I think Preston and Brock were great together but would have loved to read more about them.
