Famous
i hate that a story i lived is commodified (seriously, the antithesis of what we were doing)
into fiction, and then it's poorly told and over simplified. i recognize the conglomeration of characters from the attributes of real people i lived and struggled with - some with such charisma and impact on the politics of the lower east side that they deserve much deeper treatment. obviously written by vicarious collection of experiences by one of the many drawn downtown, fascinated by a movement for li...more
