Très intéressant pour bien comprendre l'intention de Zola et le naturalisme en profondeur, mais le ton est d'un pédagogue! C'est sans doute dû à la "nouveauté" de l'idée qui nécessitait de la présenter en détail, mais Zola me donnait presque l'impression de prendre son lecteur pour un idiot. L'ensemble de l'essai (une cinquantaine de pages) peut être réduit à une page, peut-être deux, tout en restant parfaitement complet et clair tant l'auteur répète les mêmes idées: il s'appuie sur des extraits ...more
