The second book to the Pretty Little Liars series, Flawless, we're back and we're following the lives of the four reunited friends - Emily, Aria, Hanna and Spencer. Three years ago, their best friend disappeared without a trace and was never found - until now. Alison’s body was discovered in her old backyard, but the question is, who was the one to put her there?

While the police open the murder investigation for the second time and hope

Well, I didn't like this book as much as the first one. I also have to admit I'm liking the TV series a little more and it kills me to say that because I'm sure TV will one day eat my brain (if it hasn't already).

I just couldn't ignore some of my complaints about the series this time around. I mean, the mystery part of it is still really really good. I have absolutely no flippin' clue about what will happen next. But I'm not liking the girls as much. Is it me, or are they becoming even more air-

Flawless by Sara Shepard

There's really not much I can say about this book, having already seen the TV-Show, nothing was a big surprise, but I still really enjoyed it because I just love Sara Shepard's writing!

In this book we had the big 'Foxy' benefit dance, which was kind of like homecoming (I think it was homecoming, anyway) in the TV-Show.

I can't wait to see what happens in the next books, and I'm really hoping for a lot more character development, and a larger development between the 4 girls

It was OK. The girls are so nasty but somehow, I still want to find out what's going on in Rosewood. On to the next book!

I'm really gutted by how disappointing this book was for me; especially considering how amazing I thought the TV series adaptation is.

The book tried too hard to emphasize the glamour and high sophistication of Rosewood and everyone who lived in it, that it became so superficial, and the characters unlikeable - they were portrayed as being somewhat vapid and shallow - especially Hanna and Spencer, two of the most sharp-witted girls of the group with very strong personalities on the show. The fac

Hi, Are you a teenage girl? Then rush out and buy this steaming pile of crap. Are you a fan of the TV Series and not a teen girl? You'll most likely hate this novel as well. While the show took the basic premise and made it good, it's clear why this series never really took off until after the show came out.

None of the characters have a single redeeming quality to them. Yes, they come off as having multiple layers but in the end they are just as shallow as any real life pretty girl. I also feel

An eye for an eye and the whole world goes blind.

Remember I said I liked Toby? I don't anymore, actually. He was sweet and cute but I now know what he did and... No.

When I think of Aria, Emily Spencer and Hanna I see 4 train wrecks. They are all derailing so fast it's making my head spin.

Bring on the next one!

"Don't get too comfortable. It's not over until I say it is"

The events of "Flawless" occur immediately after "Pretty Little Liars". The four girls meet after the funeral of their deceased friend and share some of what the mysterious "A" has threatened. They separate, swearing to keep each other posted...but when "A" returns to taunt them, they find themselves unwilling to reveal their deepest secrets. Aria has her eyes on a boy who used to be Hanna's boyfriend. Hanna's actions in the last book c

Flawless definitely lived up to its name - flawless!

Sara Shepard has such a way of speaking to the reader and making it seem like they are right in the action. I found myself not wanting to read at night because I got so paranoid! That's the kind of book I crave.

In Flawless, the girls are still struggling with their problems and they are becoming more advanced and more people are beginning to suspect something is wrong with them. A is becoming more vengeful and more into blackmailing them, their

Book two of the Pretty Little Liars series

She's dead. Allison DiLaurentis was found in a hole in her backyard. Someone threw her in there. But who?

The story became more riveting in the second installment of Pretty Little Liars. It kept me guessing every free second I had. Why would someone kill Ali and why would someone scare 4 girls in Rosewood?

Spencer has every reason to kill Ali. She has always been jealous of how easily Ali gets everything handed to her. Leaving perfect Spencer, not so perfe

Who the heck is A? Is A the creepy Toby that they all used to be scared of who is now somewhat normal? What had happened in the past for these girls to be tormented by? With this intense sequel, you will be left dying to get your hands on the next volume!

Flawless finally reveals what Alison did when they were younger, which is a secret they all kept. It is something that anyone would keep their mouth shut about if they did it. There is quite a bit of morals involved within this novel. It makes y

Have you ever felt like someone was watching you? This is exactly what four Rosewood Day juniors feel like after they have been receiving haunting messages, IMs, emails and texts, from an unknown person going by ~A. Spencer, Aria, Emily and Hannah hadn't talked ever since their best friend, Alison DiLaurentis, went missing in seventh grade. Spencer stole her sister’s British boyfriend, but is falling apart at the seams. Spencer is an all A student but after all of the distractions, from Wren an ...more

It's so easy-written and fast paced, enjoyable to read.
Because I watch and love the TV show as well I love getting more insight in some things, getting more details etc...

So much better than the first one! But still my favourite character is Hanna and my least favourite character is Emily, I don't know why but in the books I completely hate Emily, I love her in the show, but in he books she is really annoying I find, I dread her chapter. Reading this book didn't have any plot twists as I have already seen the show, but overall great book

I'm hooked!! I will definitely read this series until the bitter end. This book just has everything I like, a little suspense, a little drama, a little love, and a lot of fun! I've watched the show and now I'm reading the books, and I still have no idea who A is! I just find these girls so real and I just really want to get to know them better and know what is going on in their lives and I want everything to work out for them, even though I know it won't.. My biggest problem with these books are ...more

Review published on My Books Are Me - www.mybooksareme.weebly.com

Why has it taken me so long to read this series?! Book two in the Pretty Little Liars does not fail to pull me into the world of Rosewood and the lives of Aria, Emily, Spencer and Hanna, and I'm so pumped to continue to the series - I am committing to this 16 book (plus two bonus books) series and plan to see it through to the end!

Picking up straight after Pretty Little Liars, Spencer, Aria, Hanna and Emily are in shock to realise

MY THOUGHTS
I don't have extremely high feelings towards this series so far, but I did like this book and think it was a great sequel.

Spencer, Aria, Emily, and Hanna all have their own secrets that are spiraling out of control. What's worse it that a person called 'A' keeps sending them messages and threats to unleash their secrets. Some secrets that only Alison, their best friend that went missing years ago. And her body has just been fo
