4.5 Stars! What a good debut novel by Marrow! A plane crash, an amnesiac, a reporter, a murder, a romance and a mysterious talent take center stage in this paranormal romance with a mainstream novel slant featuring a creative new mythos for the sexy female lead character.

The media named her "Angel of the Hudson" when she survived a plane crash and saved a baby — the only other survivor. Unfortunately, while she can recall the details of the crash, she has no memory of who she is, why she was on

What a fascinating book! I wish I could think of a less "cliche'" way of saying that I really didn't want to put this one down. It grabs the reader on the first page, and keeps one wondering what the heck is going on. I am glad that I had the opportunity to read it and recommend it highly.
D*** my review disappeared. I'll try again.

I liked it. It was hard to decide on what genre it is though. I bought in from the sci fi section but it's not really sci fi. Nor is it urban fantasy. It's not really a romance although I suppose that is closest. The major part of the story however involves a woman with amnesia discovering that she might be reincarnated or possessed or what have you. There is a guy who helps her and they sort of have a thing but mostly it is about discovering who/what s

I won this ARC in a Goodreads giveaway.

I'm usually wary about reading books written by celebrities because many times the talent doesn't extend beyond the name. This book was different.

Angel begins with a woman waking up on a plane right before it crashes. The twist is she has no idea who she is. No clue. Nada. Nothing. Then the plane crashes, she's rescued, and is hoping that something--anything--will spark her memories. She is dubbed "Angel" because not only did she survive the crash, but she

I breezed through the first third of this with no effort which I took as a very positive sign! The writing is really good, and my fear that this was going to enter into a sickly embrace with instadore

This book was amazing! I loved the different point of views. I heard about this book from Ice loves Coco. The book sounded really good and viola, I bought it. I'm so glad I did. I couldn't put it down. It was so addicting. I loved how Angela tried to control her gift and figured out who killed her. She is so nice and sweet. Dante was awesome. I liked how he actually listened to Angela instead of automatically thinking she's crazy. He's done a lot to help Angela. I was rooting for those two the w ...more

unbelievably amazing. different from anything I've ever read. highly recommend it !
hoping for a sequel and soon !!
so much action and suspense and lust just a wonderful array of subjects in one fantastic book .

I didn't think it would be great at first because the author ICE-T's wife just looks so superficial and not capable of writing such a masterpiece ... boy was I wrong I've really learned now to not judge a book or a person for that matter by the cover .
She has amazing thought and imagina

Found this in the SF library bookshop. Lady at the desk asked me if I knew who the author was, and didn't evidence much hope for its quality. I had not a clue who Marrow is. However, this book was a real treat. Interesting from the beginning. Leaves a number of loose plot ends, but these add more to the tension, rather than being distracting. Hard to put down. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would call it more "romance" than paranormal or mystery. If there is one failing, it would be the ending, whic ...more

I got this book through my library hold system and didn't remember why I had requested it. When I saw who wrote it I was even more leery about reading it. But, being blonde myself and not wanting to perpetuate that misconsception (LOL) I started the book. The first five chapters flew by. I found it well written with an interesting plot line. I was enjoying the ride until the main character displayed so many supernatural abilities that it became unbelievable. Not a total waste of my time but I'm ...more

It was a pretty good read. Something you would read between books maybe. For me personally, it wasn't really the thriller it said it was. Had a kind of supernatural thing going to me. But it was a "light" read {compared to some of the books I have} But worth reading. :-)

I liked the book. In terms of this being the one author's debut book, it was very good. Even if believing that someone can only read the minds of men and "change," I still enjoyed the book. Kudos to Nicole "Coco" Marrow on her first book!!!

Kind of wacky. Only a handful of massive logical flaws.

TOR usually copyedits their releases better than this, though.
Tooooooo much I couldn't finish it!! There was just too much going on and it made it impossible to read.
