I'am more of a movie guy, then a book guy, so whenever I see a movie that I really like, I find the book! This book was a 6- year- old book, but I liked it. It had good illustrations and good pictures. This book also would be perfect for a person who likes Transfromers and action. This was a cute, quick read aloud with my three-year-old. He loves Transformers, so this was right up his alley. I think my six-year-old will enjoy it too once he starts reading on his own. He's a huge Transformers fan. The only thong that I think would annoy my older son is the lack of details in the story. It leaves too much out in order to do bios on all the characters.

My 6 year old really likes this book. It includes a sort of bio of all the major autobots and decepticons, including his all time favorite decepticon, the evil and perpetually frustrated, Black Arachnia.
Good starter book for readers who are familiar with the movie. Otherwise, there are a lot of weird words :-)
I give this book three stars (barely), but I think my five year old son would happily give it five stars. He likes it!
