This collection of short stories, centered around the paranormal activities in LA left me excited to see what else the author comes out with. Especially The Summoner's Bells and Wild Caught. Writing fiction is about enticing the reader to care about the story and the characters, and Katherine Tomlinson does so to great effect here. You can't help yourself, you want more- it's a world you've just got to find out more about. You may not want to live there, dangerous as it is, but you sure want to find out about those who do inhabit this other place of magic, mystery, and monsters.

L.A. Nocturne is a series of paranormal short stories. The stories start off with a real bang with the first one, about mobster vampires in LA. The story really pulled me in from the get-go, and with each of them, I found myself wanting to know more and wishing they were longer!

If you enjoy a quick read that has a paranormal twist with some interesting stories, I definitely recommend this!

Review of member giveaway eBook

Five short stories set in LA. This short book is an entertaining addition to the urban paranormal genre. In particular I enjoyed a story of a vampire who develops a type of Alzheimers which leads to a surprising twist. Very enjoyable read.
