Ms. Ashton delivers yet another scorcher, with a killer plot, literally. One Wicked Night centers around our heroine, Myka Prentiss, and the man hired to kill her, our hero Justice aka Mr. Dark. (yes he’s as yummy as he sounds). Myka’s been held under her father, Senator Prentiss’s thumb her whole life. Like a puppet on astring she’s been manipulate and bullied to conform to his demands. Repressed and unhappy she flees to a club one ni

This was a good read. Justice was that mysterious sexy hero. I almost wished we got to read more about him doing his job, that would have added some more suspense to the book. Myka knew what she wanted and went for it despite what her father thought. And her father, what a ruthless SOB. The sex scenes were of course off the chain. The ones in the shower whew....fanning myself. Being a NY girl I did think the penthouse in Starrett City was pretty hilarious....especially since Justice had the ...more

I liked this read, the begin of the book started out hot and steamy and pulled me in immediately after those first couple pages the book didn't lose my interest. Justice seem hot , sexy and demanding in a good way and Myka she held her own, the sex was good and the storyline was good as well. Myka was in Toronto in a little club dealing with what she learned her father the senator did, across the room she saw Justice, they met no names were needed as they didn't know each other. Couple months ...more

Yeah, it was good, but not as much as I was expecting... My main problem with this book was that I was expecting a heroine as was Sasha in the previous book, instead I got a classical one. There was no spunk in her. Don't ge me wrong; she was nice and not TSTL, but... I think Justice deserved something more.
This said, I'll read the next book and hope!
I would love to know what happened to Maysin and his Harper....

A Caribbean transplant, Avril now lives in Stone Mountain, GA., with a tolerant Spousal Equivalent. Together they raise an eccentric daughter who loves reading and school (not so much school anymore).
