I think everyone would like to live in Harmony, TX. It is the ideal small town filled with people who care about each other. Of course there are some not so nice people as well. It would not be a story without them.
Like the other Harmony books The Comforts of Home is character driven. All of the original characters are back and some new ones have moved into town. In The Comforts of Home there are two couples that finally get their HEA’s and there are some new characters that are More...

Reagan Truman has grown since; she first came to Harmony, Texas. She is now a young woman has a grandpa, friends and a place to call home.
Ronelle Logan works for the post office. Her first delivery is to Mr. Marty Winslow. Ronelle was not prepared for Marty’s abrupt attitude. This would explain why on her first meeting with him, she called him a cripple.

The Comforts of Home is the 3rd book in the Harmony series and it was a well written story about people findng a place for love in their lives. I love reading a series about a town and its people. I like to read about people who have kept their lives and hearts guarded and slowly begin to trust someone else with them but don't know how to reach out for it themselves. I lucked out that this book came out right around the time that I fiinished book 2 and I could continue the story of life in Ha

Coming back to Harmony with each book is like coming home to me. Jodi manages to make the town of Harmony, Texas feel like my own home town and it's inhabitants like people I know and run into at the store. Even though there are usually six months between installments, I fall right back into town life and the life of the people the story focuses on. Yet if this was the first Harmony novel you were to pick up, I think that would be fine as well. Jodi goes into enough back story to familiarize

Very good. Probably the best in the series so far. The story centers around 3 relationships. Ronny who has been told she is ugly and worthless so often that she accepts it as a fact until she meets Marty, a man angry with the world.
Tyler the town funeral director who has just about given up any hope that Kate will ever return his love; and Denver and Claire. Denver has finally found the woman he wants to spend his life with, but she is determined to make him work for every stolen kiss.

4/5; 4 stars; A-
I enjoyed reading another story set in Harmony Texas. I think a person would not enjoy this book as much if they hadn't read the previous books and gotten to know the characters and their history but it would still be a good read.
The characters drive all the Jodi Thomas books I've read and this one is the same. Like Robyn Carr, this author can build a community and intertwine several story lines without making a jumbled mess.

An excellent addition to the Harmony series. I couldn't believe how fast I read this novel. It was great to see Reagan and Noah again, Tyler and the Major, and meet Ronny and Marty although for only one of these couples their storyline was satisfying. Yes, Jodi Thomas has kept you wanting more.
The writing was funny and fast-paced and I read TCoH in a couple of hours. I really tried to draw it out and savour my time reading TCoH but before I knew it, I'd polished off 100 pages, th More...

I've loved the Jodi Thomas's Harmony Series from the first book. Each book has deepened my feelings. I feel a bond with the characters and I want everyone to be happy and safe. I believe it's true what they say about "three's the charm" because this book certainly was for me. I was in a lull and needed a pick-me-up and I definitely got it. Tyler, Reagan, Noah, Gabe, Uncle Jeremiah and his old girlfriend Pat and all the others, along with new characters who come alive in this serie

First line: "Tyler Wright manuevered his new black range rover through the streets of Harmony, Texas."
I just love all the folks of Jodi Thomas's fictional town Harmony. Each book both brings readers up-to-date on the lives of a few continuing characters and also adds in either brand new characters or characters that were merely background roles in the past. All of her characters are likeable, but what I love is that most are not super beautiful and powerful people. Instead, More...

Wonderful continuation of the Harmony series - book 3. Grabbed my attention from the start and never let go. Tears, laughter, conflict, romance. Quickly reconnected with favorite characters from the 1st two books as well as some new ones. Can't wait for the next book to be released.

The third one in her Harmony series and it may just be the best yet. Jodi's skill as a writer is unmatched. She hooked me on the first page and kept me glued to the book until the last page. Can't wait for #4 to come out.

Nice book about home, family, and taking chances. The book has multiple plots running at the same time. I would have like to have had more about Reagan and Noah, but maybe that's coming in future books. Worth the time, and as always with Jodi Thomas, you get a satisfying ending.

This is a nice book about the people of Harmony, Texas. There is love, drama, and humor among people you meet every day. Its an enjoyable read.

Bad Grammar, and Unbelievable Situations did me in. I'll not be reading any more of this author. Note, from p.84, second sentence of Chapter 14. "Even though Hank had married and built Alex...."

I always enjoy Jodi Thomas' books. This one was also an enjoyable book to read. It is, I think, the third in The Harmony Novel series. However it stands on it's own, but it is nice if you read the other two first. Because then you have the background of all the characters.

Oh, love is in the air in Harmony. Jodi Thomas makes you wish you lived in a small town, tornado and all.

It was fun to revisit Harmony in this story and see where things are a few years later. I was very glad to see Tyler's story finally worked out and really liked Ronelle's story. I hope there is more to her story in the next book.

I love my visits to Harmony. I want to live there with these quirky characters. I love their stories. Occasionally, I stop and think "Who talks like that?" about some of the dialogue. I don't care though because I enjoy the rest so much. This is the third book in the Harmony series. I would recommend visiting Harmony (and read the series in order.). Can't wait for the next book!

It kinda surprises me, every time I finish one of the Harmony books, how much I love these books. I'm actually interested in seeing how the triangle of Noah/Reagan/Brandon plays out.

Another good read, the third in this series. I love this small town and the characters who inhabit it. Am glad to hear that Ms. Thomas is hard at work writing another book in this series, due out in 2012.
