Cypher Lx is a very talented author. The book is about zombies in the West, but it's done so logically that you really believe it. Her concepts and characters are great: Jeb, the lone horseman, Hel and Angel, the two beautiful prostitutes, and Rusty, the kid who meets them. Not only that, bu the action never lets up.

I hihgly recommend this as a great Halloween read.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. I liked the characters, the plot, etc. enough to finish the book and be glad I did. However there were two things that disappointed me - the hokey, exaggerated country-bumpkin voices that the characters used (inconsistently, I might add), and the ending.

The voices were what initially almost put the book down.

"Nowadays, people 'round these parts call me the Reaper."

"I'm keepin' my guns so I can save my own hide if y'all can't keep 'em out."

It was almost too much.
