Long overdue review and I apologize for that! Let it not reflect on the book, as I loved it and have just been reading faster than I review. This will be short though (it will! finally! just all of you watch!!):

{ Loved Brandy }
She was funny, authentic, friendly, intelligent. No TSTL or TATL moments. Her "transformation" didn't really feel like a transformation, so much as a coming into her own and gaining confidence. Sometimes these makeovers can be ridiculous, over-the-top, and be a

This book has proven to be a great surprise. I admit that I didn't expect such a hilarious book when I picked it up, since I'm mostly drawn to more angsty and dark ones. However, despite this not being my usual cup of tea, I was thoroughly charmed by it. It was fun, it was sexy, it was sweet, it was fast-paced, it was engrossing. I just couldn't put it down once it started!

Brandy is having second thoughts about marrying her boyfriend and runs away leaving him standing at the altar. Just
5 Stars Contemporary Romance

Yowza! What a fantastic piece of romance this turned out to be from one of my favorite contemporary romance authors. Negligee Behavior which is to come out on the 23rd of this month pets and strokes all the right places with the right balance of quirky humor, romance and red-hot passion of the body hair singeing variety and I loved every single moment of Marco and Brandy's journey to happily ever after.

Quick Take: This book is pure fun, with a great deal of heart and spice. I’d call it chick-lit with a kick. ^_^

This book just felt so damn good to read. It’s got a vaguely fairy tale vibe to it, insofar as the story involves a chronically frumpy lady who, through a series of unexpected events, blossoms into herself and finds love. Protagonist Brandy Summers is sweet, charming and magnetic, even as she doubts herself and her own attractiveness. I actually bought into the progres

When lingerie heiress Brandy Summers ends up at the altar in Vegas with her boyfriend Gordon, she get cold feet and runs out of the chapel. While Marko Vargas is sitting at an intersection red light a crazed chick jumps on his bike and tells him to go.

Brandy ends up staying with Marco to avoid the spotlight and he feels that he can’t just dump her anywhere. She soon ends up bartending for him at Dante’s, a bar Marco owns.

Going into this book I wasn’t expecting much so it was to my surprise that

This was a lovely, sweet read, provided to me by netgalley. The writing is good, the characters are nice people, but I just felt like there was something missing for me.

What I liked about this one

- The old heiress-meets-a-bit-of-rough plot is twisted a little bit, with the hero keeping his own dark secrets. So the description of the biker bit is a tad misleading, maybe.

- The heiress represents more the type of person I actually imagine heiresses generally are (i.e. relatively normal-looking, nor

I really loved this newest Carina Press release by Stevens. It reminded me so much of the fabulous Kowalski Series books by Carina’s great Shannon Stacey. It was fun, light, engaging, and sexy.

As Brandy Summers stands at the alter for a quickie wedding, every instinct in her is telling her to run. Sprinting as fast as she can she finds herself on the back of a motorcycle with a handsome hunk she is telling to make a run for it.

Brandy Summers heir to the Sugar and Spice Lingerie company owned by her parents doesn’t want to be labelled like “those other famous heiresses” so she kinda takes it to the extreme and goes in the complete opposite direction. The private school choir teacher doesn’t like to bring any attention to herself including staying out of the limelight and downplaying her physical attributes.

I know Brandy’s got a bit of a self-esteem problem, but I sure didn’t get how she dated her reality show, dentist

I loved the premise of this book. Not only does Brandy run out on her wedding, but she jumps on the back of a motorcycle and is whisked away into a new world. A quick make-over and a new job and suddenly sparks fly and they fall in love. I could almost call it a classic! Throw in some great humor and steamy sex and you have the perfect contemporary romance.

Brandy is the not-so-stick-thin heiress to one of America's largest lingerie chains. She's involved in a lukewarm relationship with her reality t.v show dentist boyfriend, Gordon and tried to lead a somewhat normal life by teaching high school choir. How many of you ladies married that safe, boring man and sometimes just look at him as he is watching television and think, "what if...?"

What if you had walked out of your own wedding and jumped on the back of some sexy bad boy's motorcycle and rode away with him?

It had all the right elements but it wasn't as exciting as I thought it would be. The characters were likable and pretty funny sometimes but all in all I found myself a little underwhelmed and sorta of bored. I honestly can't say I disliked anything about it .. it was a pleasant read but not that interesting for me.

A bride running out on her own wedding would be a big problem for anyone. It's an even bigger problem for Brandy Summers, considering she's the heiress to a billion dollar lingerie empire.

Brandy is getting married. Stood at the Hunk-A-Hunk-A Burning love chapel, she realises that she doesn’t actually like her fiancé. Turns out she has good judgement, as the scuzzball only wants her for her cash because Brandy is a heiress to a fortune. Trying to escape from the chapel in a very cheap wedding dress isn’t going to be easy, so she escapes the area in the only way that she can; via the back of a motorbike. I liked it enough for a one time read but I won't pick it up again. The storyline was good although Gordon's character was a little exaggerated and I would have like to see someone a little more normal and not as dramatically creepy. She dated this guy for a year and I'm sure if he was really that bad he would have slipped up his act here and there enough to make her think twice. Regardless of what type of person he is, I find it highly doubtful that any modern man would call their girlfriend "l ...more

This is a fast paced super sexy read with many likable characters set in Sin City about an heiress and a bartender trying to make something of their relationship despite some differences. For negligee heiress/choir teacher Brandy Summers her spur-of-the-moment wedding was supposed to be romantic, but between the dirty carpet and sour smells and an increasingly creepy fiancee she knows changes needed to be made. I don't remember who recommended this book to me but then I want to say thank you to what-is-your-name because oh dear, this story was so sweet and I just couldn't put it down.

This book, of course, held cliche of all cliches. A bride-left-the-altar-stranger-helped-her-and-they-get-acquainted-at-last-fell-in-love. Despite that, I didn't seem care. I liked Brandy. She's really nice, modest, full of confidence, and beautiful in her own way. She's really rich but she didn't take granted for i

This was a great read…longer than a novella, but just short of full book and altogether just right. Brandy is so sweet and kind that she may even get stepped on out in the ‘real’ world. But, because of her inner self, everyone around her sees the truly gorgeous person she is on the inside. After a few tweaks here and there, a makeover completes her transformation. Where she was once shy and embarrassed of her curves, she embraces not only her body, but her life and her desire for Marco. And trus ...more

I just finished listening to this and it was kind of a cute story. Not insta-love, but insta-lust that turns into a lot more. It's about Brandy who is an heiress to a huge lingerie company, but who has never tried to make herself look good because she felt she couldn't compete with the lingerie models. Her boyfriend takes her to Vegas and talks her into getting married, but just before she says "I do", she freaks and runs and jumps on the back of Marco's bike. They take off. This was a nice read but I felt everything just fell into place a little bit too neatly. Girl runs out of own wedding, hops onto hunky guy's bike, evades detection from angry (and sleazy) fiance, gets a job, finds a place to stay, falls in lust, falls in love, discover secrets, angry and than not, the end.

It felt a little bit underwhelming and just that little bit of push would have made this 5 star read. I was always put in an anticipatory mood but then the outcome didn't match the l

This was a really good story of discovery and being comfortable with who you are. Brandy and Marco were likeable and fit well together. One of the things I really loved about this story was the internal conversation, letting us know what they really thought, who hasn't done that! I could see this book having enough legs to get another book or two out of it. With the brit and Marco's sister so here's hoping.
