Ever had one of "Those" mornings where you wake up and try to reconstruct the scene of last night? Well Tessa Worth sure has. Her brother's brilliant plan to send her "out on the town" with his best friend Cade backfires when one drink too many sends her sex starved hormones into overdrive and she hits on him when he takes her home. Unsure of whether the desire is from the heat of the moment or long repressed attraction, Tessa hopes to play it off. After all, why would her big brother, Rowan's b ...more

This book was decent, but it felt rushed at the beginning and suffered from an obvious lack of editing, proofing, and even beta reading. There were also bits of story that just seemed thrown in for no reason and with no resolution, such as the introduction of Erin. I think Ms. Riley has potential as a writer, but she needs a good team behind her who can point out these things before the book is published.

This one had such a promising premise.
Attracted to her brother's best friend.
But somehow, too much importance is given to the events of the daily life which just didn't sit well with me.
Ava Riley shows promise with her talent and maybe sometime later I will pick this up and attempt a go at it again.

I found this book free on Amazon and had recommended it to my coworkers without even reading it *hangs head in shame*. Ha! Luckily, it was a success. A week later, they were talking about it non-stop and dying to get to the next installment. Of course, now that the recommendation had come back at me, I just had to find out what the chats were about. I’m glad I did as this book is a fast and fun read.

Tessa and Cade have known each other her whole life. Cade is best friend is best friends with Tess’ older brother, Rowan, and he has watched Tessa grow up – teasing her along the way as any big brother’s best friend would do. One night when Rowan was busy he suggests Tessa and Cade hang out – go to the bar together. Little do any of them know that night will change their lives. When Cade takes an inebriated Tessa home, she hikes up her skirt and straddles his lap, confessing her desire for him. ...more

A Lifetime to find Love by Ava Riley was a good read that I enjoyed. In this story, the reader is introduced to Tess and Cade. They've known each other ever since they were kids, even though Cade is seven years older than Tess. Cade is also the best friend of Tess's older brother Rowan. Therefore, there is the golden rule of "Thou shall not get involved with your best friend's little sister." However, after one night of two many shots Tess throws away her inhibitions and tries to seduce Cade whi ...more
Can you hear the horns playing the sad "wah wah wah" I'm kind of angry after reading this because this story had so much potential to me but fulfilled very little of it. I mean the sex scenes were hot but other than that only a bunch of mushy introspection from our main characters about how much they loved each other. (gag me with a spoon) I spent chapters anticipating a problem that never occured. I had so much hope for some conflict when Erin entered the picture but all she did was not relay a ...more

This is the most romantic book I've read in ages. I finished the book on a sigh of pure bliss. It was just like being swept up in the first flush of romance.
I loved the relationship between Cade and Tessa which was both passionate and loving. The sex scenes were erotic but had an extra depth to them as you really felt the love they had for each other with each stolen kiss or touch.
I couldn't put the book down from start to finish and I can't wait to read more from this author. I really hope

Very disappointed. It badly needed editing, and, frankly I was actually bored with usually doesn't happen with erotica. (Well, maybe I should correct that to "romance" instead of "erotica").

Things plodded along when suddenly Erin was thrown in with a LOT of background... and then nothing happened with her.

I have the sequel and will try that one... I just hope to like it better than this book.

A very sexy, but also a very romantic read. Tessa and Cade are so perfect together!

I didn't get the character of Erin at first. The introduction of her character seemed a bit of out place, but it sets things up for the next book which I am anxious to read.

I think my only criticism would be some of the day to day detail seemed a bit repetitious or unnecessary at times.

This was good story I really enjoyed all of it! The only thing every time he wanted to tell her something she would automatically think it was bad. She seem like a person with more self confidence than that. I can wait to start the next book

This was a pretty great read. The plot was a little short in some parts but overall I loved it! Hope to find another soon by the author!
