No pictures and the instructions are clumped together in big blocks of paragraph text instead of broken into steps -- one of my pet peeves about cookbook design. It might have some good recipes, but it was too hard to quickly skim through, which is exactly what I expect to do with a cookbook.

This is our go-to weeknight cookbook. Recipes are well written, and the layout is easy to use. Ingredients are generally easy to come by. No pictures? No problem, the recipes speak for themselves. Great flavours, and recipes for every season. My only complaint is that the pages have started falling out after 4+ years of heavy, heavy use.

A This book has a lot of really yummy recipes, a lot of basic vegetarian ones but vegan ones too. Sounds good - went out and bought it!
