This book was so cute I can't wait to try it at storytime. I really liked it's message of uniqueness. A little pea sets out to find himself and returns to the pod decorated with all sorts of pieces he borrows from other creatures.

A cute story about a pea who wants to be different, and what inspires him in becoming a unique pea.
Basic illustrations - would make a cute book to have the kids re-illustrate

Al little green pea wants to be different from all the other peas in the garden. He goes through the world appreciating unique features of those he meets-a tiger's stripes, an elephant's nose.... When he nestles into the ground, he is a seed after all, there is suspense to see what will emerge in the spring. Surprise!
A light look at those who yearn to be different.

This is a book about a pea that doesn't want to be like the other peas in the pod so he embarks on an adventure to discover himself. I enjoyed this story and the illustrations. My daughter seemed to enjoy this as well. We both enjoyed the ending. Worth reading.
