Sir Nicholas needs to wed a rich bride in order to maintain the keep which he won as a Norman mercenary. He sends out a message to all available ladies in the land to come to his keep and he will pick his new bride.

This is a reread for me. I just love this book. I love that the heroine is so easy to get along with and everyone loves her. I wished she was a little stronger about her feelings about her man... but it all works out like it should :). Definitely a keeper!

Nice easy read.
Nothing special but good.
I especially liked the heroin. She was no insecure, whiny wimp but a tough and down-to-earth woman.
