I usually don't read romance books, but in this case I was so glad I did. Secret Storm was written wonderfully. The attraction between Jack and Sara is very intense. They have wanted to be with each other for a very long time, but never acted upon it. Now with both of them single, the inevitable is bound to happen. Sara has been toyed with before by other men, and feels the need to help everyone. Jack is harboring a secret that pains him in ways, he believes, that Sara could never understand or ...more
Jack has been waiting for a chance with Sara Jensen from the first moment he met her. It seemed either she was involved with someone or he was, the timing was never right. When Jack finds out she dumped her recent boyfriend he knows the time is finally right, but Sara is nervous about entering into another relationship, especially one that she has wished for a longtime.

Jack has kept his history to himself, not wanting others to know but Sara is determined to have no secrets between them and want

“Don’t give up… please. ‘Ask me again sometime.’ If he kept asking her, she might get the answer right someday.”

Timing is everything. At least, it is in the case of Sara Jensen and Jack Wheeler. Jack’s sights have been set on Sara for years. His feelings are reciprocated; yet, an obstacle always prevents a relationship. With patience and persistence, Sara will belong to him forever. Jack will open his heart and reveal all his secrets when the timing is right. In the meantime, he burns

There's no denying that Jack and Sara were made for each other. Mainly at the beginning of the book (my favorite part) their chemistry is at its high point, you absolutely can't wait to see them together!

Secret Storm by Amelia James is a mixture between erotica and drama. Although there are definitely some steamy scenes the majority of the book revolves around Sara's problem with control and Jack's secret childhood both, having some major trust issues. James did an excellent job writing the steamy scenes between the two characters, Jack and Sara. I thought it was great that the author played with the idea of Jack and Sara being “the right person at the wrong time,” it was extremely relatable. I ...more

This sequal to, 'Tell Me You Want Me', was a terrific story. I loved that Jack had wanted Sara for years but the timing had never worked out. He's a sexy, strong character and I felt his character was very realistic. Sara, on the other hand, was a little too dramatic in some cases but her devotion to helping people and her strength were admirable. Her character is very likable and you definitely want her and Jack together although she's a little annoying in the first third of the book. All in al ...more

3.5 almost 4 Stars!
This was a "companion" book to Tell Me You Want Me. This book being about Sarah and Jack. Once again this was a quick, light read with a nice steam factor. Not a ton of a drama and angst. I didn't connect with Sarah and Jack quite as well as I did with Jane and Austin. However, I still enjoyed the story. This book was definitely worth the sale price and I will keep an eye out for other books by this author.
I enjoyed this book once I got into it. As an erotic romance, Secret Storm certainly delivers. The sex scenes are well-written and seem realistic enough to kick-start this girl’s fantasies. Oh My!

I did have a few issues with the book, but they are minor. I got a bit confused at first when I read that Jack played Football in the prologue, then in the first chapter he’s playing Baseball. Not a biggie, but made me stop and re-read for clarification.

Secondly, Sara’s poor choices in men and her co-de
Secret Storm, the companion novel to Tell Me You Want Me, really surprised me. I had only minor problems with the first book, but for some reason, I was worried this one would be too similar or a carbon copy of other books. I was so very wrong.

Sara Jensen (best friend to Jane from book one) doesn't trust easily. A lot of that has to do with Jane's boyfriend, Austin. He hurt her along with lots of other guys, and to protect herself, she runs when she cant handle the hurt. Trying to reach

There never seems a right time for Sara and Jack, for one reason or another they are never available at the same time. Now, after three years of flirting they are finally able to be together. Everything seems to be going perfectly, until Jack’s secret begins to surface. Everyone has secrets, some secrets are worse than others and some secrets can change your life forever.

This isn’t your average book, it’s written as a full blown adult novel surrounding college students. With tons of passion and
Sara Jensen has loved Jack Wheeler ever since she laid eyes on him. Her love for him has grown steadily through the years and has never once diminished. Every chance that she's had, she's hinted to Jack that she's quite interested, yet their share of relationships, and other matters, have kept them apart for as long as she can remember.

She's gone through a slew of relationships, vowing not to let the next man in line hurt her. When it turns out that Jack is free at the same that she is, Sara see

I received an e-copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is the first adult novel that I've read for review and I'm really glad I decided to be apart of this tour.
This book is just amazing! From the first page, to the very end, it kept my attention. I never wanted to put it down, it was that damn good!
Sara and Jack have flirted back and forth for 3 years but could never do anything more then that because they were always in relationships with other people, or one was single when
Oh Jack! Damn he's hot! This book was definitely an emotional roller coaster. A few times I actually yelled out loud "Stop being a jerk, Jack, and TELL HER!" But he was the best kind of jerk. Jack has a secret from his past that Sara wants to know in order for her to trust him. He's afraid he will lose her if she knows. The chemistry between the two is unbelievable. I was rooting for a happy ending throughout the entire book but there were so many things going on that I just didn't know if it wo ...more

My Review:

While Sara and Jack seem to have a hard time getting their stars and time tables aligned, once they do, oh baby watch out! They burn up page after page in this hot and steamy adults only read by Amelia James. Her characters were people I could relate to and enjoyed reading about. I could not wait to find out...."What Happens Next?!" A definite page turner! The story contains a message for the reader, the hot Alpha male and strong female heroine were engaging, had a story and relationsh

Every time I am looking up books to read my eyes don't go to the title of the book or even what the book is about it goes to the area where it says Genres and in that section it will tell you Really what this book is about. The second I saw Romance and Erotica in the Genre section for this book I knew I had to have it, read it, and fall in love. This is not my first time reading a book by Amelia but if you have read any of her other books you will understand why once you read
"Secret Storm" is a steamy hot novel in a plot based on characters and their struggles and lust for each other. With tons of action, passion and sexual encounters, you will find it hard to put this book down. A must read for all erotica lovers.

Love this book, great follow up to the first one. There was a great story, love, the struggle for trust, and hot steamy only complaint, if you can call it that, is there were certain parts in the story I wish had a little more depth or content, but that is just personal preference. I really enjoyed the book!
"I want to let you in Jack, but I.... Oh hell, I just want you, I have for a long time. I know you're not what I need, but I don't care. Take me to bed now and we'll sort the rest out later"

I enjoy this book, it was so much better hotter and steamer then the first one!!!

Amelia James started reading steamy romance novels in junior high, but her mom took them away from her, so she started daydreaming instead. After she got married, she wrote some of her naughtier daydreams down and sent them to Playgirl magazine. Two of them got published. She kept daydreaming and writing stories until her dirty stories turned into trashy books.

She lives in Colorado, but she’ll al
