Really funny and it was an easy read.

Began to read it and was so irritated by how shallow it was that I didn't get more than 20 pages in. It's rare for me to give up on a book but this was simply a waste of time. It didn't seem to have any redeeming value, other than a cute premise. It's like chic-lit for teeny boppers! It's incredible!
This was a really fun, easy read. I got it and read it in one night. It took me back to being a teenager and all the trials that go along with it. It was fun and light, which is so nice as I've been reading some heavy material lately.
This is one of the worst books I have ever read.

I was excited when I found these Simon Romantic Comedies thinking I had just found a bunch of books that my young teen daughter might enjoy, but NO! I really tried to finish this book just so I could justify rating it 1 star. I skipped through it enough (hoping it might redeem itself) that I feel justified. This book was completely shallow, had more bad language than in books I read, and promotes reckless drinking and sex for teens. If I had read it before my daughter, she wouldn't have even...more

This book was really entertaining. I liked it from the first page to the last. I think everyone will like the book because it is unique. It has magical characteristics for people who like magic. It is really a much recommended book for girls even though some thinks boys will like it too. I really like how the characters connect it to each other and I love how the author makes the book so relatable to the readers. I want to read more books from this author because I really like this author.

Plot: Most of you know that Simon Rom Coms are my weakness -- I love them. This one was no exception. While it wasn't my personal favorite, I liked how the Greek Mythology was brought in, and I did enjoy it.
Characters: The characters were real and I felt like Roxy could've been my best friend. They were easy to relate to and described well.
Wow Factor: Simon Rom Coms are very predictable, but I still love them.. and this one was no exception.

It's always fun to read a lighthearted story. It cleanses the palate. Now I know that might be a huge insult to authors of these types of books but I don't mean it as one. This book was fast fun but, oh, so predictable. It did have some great lines like, (Her face crumples like the last cinnamon twist in the Taco Bell bag), and, (She's wearing a black dress so small it looks like she stripped it off her little sister's Bratz doll). Great stuff!
A classic case of girl wants popular boy, gets popular boy, realizes boy next door is who she loves. Only this tale comes with a Greek myth twist. If I were a hot siren, I’m pretty sure I’d do what Roxy does— go shopping. A short quick read with a sweet happy ending. A summer read for sure.

Okay, so I excuse myself in the reading of these fluffy novels by the fact that I want to write YA rom-coms some day (this, in itself, is perhaps a slightly embarrassing aspiration, but too bad). However, some have more pizzazz than others. This is one of those that I am a little more embarrassed to have read. (In my defense, I uber-skimmed it.)
This book was good :) I loved most of the details and the storyline was pretty good but there were some parts that I didn't quite like. It was a good book but overall it was ok. If the storyline had been a little less confusing and if the characters were a bit more interesting I would probably have rated this book at a 4 or a 5.
Up to her sixteen birthday Roxy has been a geek with no social life, a crush on the most popular boy at school and very plain. Suddenly she has looks, guys, and attention from the in crowd and a magical flute.

I think I'm going to stop reading the Simon Romantic Comedies. The summaries on the back of the books are so much better than the books themselves. I liked that this book was unique; there aren't a lot of books about sirens. It just didn't turn out as good as it sounded on the back.

i think this book is the bomb i love it. the plot of the story is amazing. what i've learned from this is you may like someone and then realize the the person you like might only like you for your beauty and your true love could just be your best friend.
I rarely put down a book because it's really bad, but that was the way I ended up not finishing this book. It had a really bad story and moral. Please don't waste your time reading this.
Possibly the most predictable book I've ever read. EVER. I had it figured out plot line for plot line in the first 5 pages. Not that there was a huge plot line or anything.
This book is out of my comfort zone...but I'm glad I took the risjk cuz it was pretty good. i was so caught up init that my parents almost left me in the hospital!
the girls standards were defently lower than mine. Their was a lot of swaring and other things not for my age could of been a great story without all the other stuff
